This is an outstanding hotel in a wonderful setting in Plettenberg Bay. Staff and service were excellent and the food was exceptional. Our only criticism was the lack of ramps for disabled persons and this caused us great embarrassment when we invited mobility impaired guests for lunch.

Nothing not to like …
We woke up to a stunning sunrise over the Indian Ocean, and dolphins playing in the surf below the cliffs where the hotel is located. Incredibly memorable.

Viel zu wenige Liegebetten an den Pools, nicht bewirtschaftet, viele sind Stunden unbesetzt, aber reserviert. Hier braucht es bei schönem Wetter unbedingt einen Pool Manager!!

It has the most amazing views and unique decor . Clean and classy . Staff were amazing everyone so friendly and keen to assist or advise . Very baby friendly too
It was perfect honestly
Avoid rooms 28 and 30 as they are above the kitchen. You do enjoy some see view, provided tou open the window... which you will avoid doing because of the fry smell.

We had two rooms one of which had a sea view which was lovely!!
Breakfast was amazing with a buffet and hot options, plenty of juices and bottles of fizz or Bloody Mary's if you want them!
The breakfast area looks over the sea and we were lucky enough to see dolphins swimming by!
The staff were all fantastic and could not do enough for us! I would stay here again!
We stayed in a superior suite overlooking the ocean for 3 days. The hotel was busy but never noisy and the setting and decor were beautiful. There’s 2 pools and the heated pool was very quiet with gorgeous sweeping views across the sea. Enjoyed evening drinks at the bar and dinner was delicious each evening. Felt very safe as there was lots of security outside the hotel. The small town was at the top of the street up a steepish hill but we preferred to stay at the hotel as there wasn’t too much worth seeing in the town.
bfast was great - room a bit small and would have loved a sea facing room ( now it costs more)
our shower leaked water into the rest of the bathroom
