Nothing
The room was dirty. The bathroom rug was disgusting.
Everything was great except the traffic on the highway outside my window. The staff were fabulous, the bartender(s) were wonderful!
traffic noise on the interstate, even with A/C running. I suggest asking for a room opposite of the interstate
The breakfast was decent
1) Dated carpets, filthy doors, windows and chairs in any common area. 2) they didn’t want to count in my stay in my Marriott rewards because I booked through booking.com. Nonsense. 3) our reservation listed 5 guests but we only got 3 towels. When we called around 9 to ask for the missing towels, they said they couldn’t bring it. We had to go and get them
Friendly staff
Decent breakfast
Room was nice and clean
Close to major road but not as loud as I thought it would be -
Convenient to restaurants and venues
The only problem was our room had a unpleasant smell upon entering. The rest of the hotel seemed fine. Since we were only staying one night we just stayed in the room.
Great hospitality
Can’t really think of anything
Everything was nice
I didn’t have any problems
We were here for a wedding.
The only problem is the room coffee pot did not work. I brought it to the desk and it was never replaced. We stayed 3 nights. I believe this was for the other room I reserved for our son.
It was just fine or acceptable and late check in was easy.
The price was way too high for the quality of stay. Rooms had non working lights in them and air was not circulating well. Had privacy curtains which felt too easy to see through so natural light was not an option in the morning from our low floor room.
Overall, the hotel is very dirty. The beds are not fully stripped or changed with fresh sheets. During my stay, the second floor experienced bed bugs twice, specifically in rooms 219 and 220, I believe. Guests have complained about seeing bugs on the beds. The most the hotel will offer as compensation is a different room to switch to.
The second floor is supposedly designated for animals, although pets are not allowed unless they are “service dogs.” The rooms are not deep cleaned after a pet has stayed in them.
The manager, Rushell, is rude, cockeyed, and unprofessional. She treats employees with little respect and speaks to them as if they are insignificant. Employees work extremely hard but are only paid minimum wage.
Please choose another place—I’m begging you. It’s overpriced and not worth the dirty experience, both in terms of the hotel and the way people are treated.
***they have bed bugs please run. The manager has a cockeyed and not pleasant to look at***
I had originally booked 2 rooms at this hotel for one night as a stopover on our way home. Since our plans changed, I canceled these rooms well within the free cancellation period (around 10 hours before 6 pm the day before our reservation). Despite receiving a cancellation confirmation, I later noticed that the hotel had charged me for the nights.
I called the hotel about this, and initially was met with questions about the timing of the cancellation (i.e., the person I spoke with suggested I may have cancelled too late). After approx. 24 hours passed without this charge being removed, I called the main customer line and eventually reached customer loyalty. After a lengthy call where I described the problem at this hotel and the other Marriott property I had stayed at on the same trip, the credit card charges were removed. This shouldn't have happened in the first place, but since it did, the problem should have been promptly resolved without a lengthy call to the Marriott line (know that you will be routed through an AI system and possibly have to hold for a while before eventually reaching a loyalty department representative).
