Double charge and still tried to charge my card after I left
Breakfast was good location was real close to where we attended a surprise birthday party. Loved the bar and grille the salad I had was very delicious.
Didn’t know there was a charge for parking deck until check in time. Other than that everything was fine.

I was double charged for the room. Booking.com charged me and then the hotel charged me again. I'm not sure where the incompetency was, but I shouldn't have to chase my refund down. Completely unacceptable
A little surprising that Marriott puts their name in this hotel. While the front desk checkin staff was great, the beds sucked, the carpeting was frayed everywhere, the gym was tiny and the bar staff was mostly absent. Most importantly, the wifi only worked for 2 or 3 minutes at a time, then it took 15 or 20 minutes to reconnect to the network internet. Was here for a personal weekend trip but had to spend hours on a Friday night dealing with work stuff that should have taken minutes because of internet connectivity worse than most places on the planet.
VARIETY
I spend over 120 nights per year in a hotel room , so I appreciate all of the little things that this Fairfield did correctly to make my stay more enjoyable. The desk in my room was NOT located right next to the wall air conditioner. I don't like the AC blowing directly on me while working on my computer. The bathroom had a foot rest shelf and a handle to hold on to while using the shelf. This made washing feet much easier. The bathroom came with a little bar of soap instead of the bottle of soap that most hotels now have. The tv in the room was the perfect size (about 40 inches). I dont care for hotels that put a 60" TV in the room because the light is so bright at night (I sleep with the TV on). I could actually open the window to the room to get fresh air in. The buffet breakfast included many high end items like sausage biscuits, Chochbani greek yogurt, and blueberry scones.

I have visited this hotel several times. Check in today was very welcoming and friendly. Allen and Rachel at the front desk were fantastic. Carmen at the bar was great. The staff makes this place an amazing place to stay. Kudos to management.
