I left without sleeping over because I felt I walked into a tenement from Hells Kitchen before it w.
Pros:

The receptionist Taylor, was kind, cheerful, knowledgeable and very accommodating. She was a 10/10
Super sweet.

Cons:

There was hair in my bed. It seemed like it was a HUD living situation and not at all a hotel for people needing a day or 2.

Pros:

Overall the staff were friendly. The room was also clean, and room service was regular.

Cons:

One week before the trip, I was informed that the hotel basically is also operating as a shelter. There was so much noise above my room during the night. Sounded like maybe kids jumping. This was supposed to be a relaxing getaway for me and my boyfriend.

Pros:

The hotel was just ok, breakfast was limited, nothing stood out other that listening to the hotel staff while i was having breakfast, at the reception, talking to other staff member loudly and cursing a lot. Then the same staff that were talking at the reception would come to the breakfast area and keep talking loudly while getting breakfast to go. The smell of weed and food coming from other rooms was really strong also. Check in and check out was really fast and easy though.

Homeless shelter not a hotel
Pros:

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! It is a homeless shelter disguised as a hotel. Kids were spitting in hallways, rooms reeked of cigarettes, the hallway in the morning smelled like garbage, i had to hold my breath. Moms were yelling at kids, babies crying, literally so overpriced. Beyond disappointing

Unpleasant Stay
Pros:

We discovered that this hotel has made the business decision to house welfare families at the hotel. We have no problem with that except it meant a number of crying children late in the evening when we were trying to go to sleep. Also there was dropped food constantly on the floors in the elevators & elsewhere. I don't think this is fair to normal paying customers. As a result, we will not be staying at any other La Quinta Inn!

Just an okay hotel.
Pros:

The hotel is in a nice location. The best part of this day was the staff which was excellent including maintenance. It's an older hotel, and needs remedial updates. There is no internet provided. The bed was semi-comfortable, the pillows instead of being king size pillows with a much smaller pillows. The toilet seat was very low. So if you have a low back problem, forget it. The toilet wouldn't flush and maintenance came up within 5 minutes to fix the issue. The air conditioning unit was very noisy. The maintenance individual tried to fix it but what he did didn't work. I don't know much about the breakfast cuz I never eat breakfast. Just an okay experience.

Seems like the place has seen some wear and tear. Expected a little more for the price.

Breakfast was minimal; elevator shook when in use; carpet was ripped; tubs were old and stained; walls need re-painted
