Well it was my second stay in the last two months. I slept better then in my own bed. Both times the ppl were very frien
Pros:

It was quiet and very comfortable

Cons:

It was clean and out of the way. Not too far. But just enough.

Get what you pay for – cheap but very uncomfortable stay

The property is dated and rooms are not very soundproof at all. Beds were super uncomfortable.

Very comfortable sleep and that’s all we utilized.
Pros:

The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The room was quiet and temperature control was good.

Cons:

The in-room coffee was terrible. We had already decided to go out for breakfast but I took a quick look at the buffet and it looked kind of skimpy.

It was nice.
Pros:

The room and bed was comfortable.

Cons:

I didn't like the old vending machines and thelat the ice machine was on the 3rd floor. My mom was on the 1st floor and couldn't get ice because of her fear of elevators. I see that renovations are going on so may want to consider newer vending machines that take cards as well and I've machine on each floor.

I also feel the breakfast could've been better.

Also it took a long time for the water in the bathroom to heat up.

Very enjoyable.
Pros:

Staff was all very friendly, but Carolyn, who handled the food service went above and beyond. She is the face of Wingate. Obviously she loves her job and exudes cheer and service. She needs special recognition!

Cons:

Nothing. Lobby area and food service area are still being renovated but it was no inconvenience for us.

10/10. Clean. Safe. Comfortable.
Pros:

We were in town for a volleyball tournament. The location is about 10 minutes from downtown so very easy access to the Raleigh convention center. The hotel is on a quiet and safe side street. Safety is hugely important to me when traveling with just me and my daughter. Every staff member I engaged with was so friendly and helpful. My daughter actually left her portable speaker as we were rushing out early in the morning on the day of our departure and we were able to return later that day before we left town to get the speaker with no issue.

Cons:

Nothing to note here. Everything about my stay was perfect. I have no notes on anything that I didn't like.
