Clean room
This is not a Westin quality hotel and definitely NOT a 5 star hotel. Black mold in the shower. Broken faucets. Decor from the 50’s.
Rooms were large , open , bright
Shuttle into town and old town handy.
All staff all genuinely friendly and happy .
Excelente hotel
This was, without a doubt, the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Poor service, unwelcoming staff, unclean rooms, loud and chaotic common areas, and zero sense of luxury. The pool area was neglected, guests played loud music, and we couldn’t sleep due to noisy golf groups at night. We left early and would never return. Completely misrepresented as a luxury hotel.
Buen lugar y ubicación. En general con algunas excepciones tranquilo dentro del Hotel. Habitaciones cómodas que requieren un refresh. Jardines lindos. Desayuno buen. Cena deficiente.
kamer met zicht en terras op de straatkant, veel lawaai van voorbijrijdende zware camions en leveranciers van het hotel, onze kamer zat thv verkeersdrempel, wat het lawaai nog erger maakte. s Nachts meerdere malen wakker geworden van het lawaai, uitslapen kon al helemaal niet. We hadden onmiddellijk na inchecken een andere kamer gevraagd, maar omruilen blijkbaar niet mogelijk, nochtans was het hotel totaal niet volzet (laagseizoen begin april). Opgelet het zwembad is NIET verwarmd, het was ijskoud 16°C, dus onmogelijk om te zwemmen. Spa en sauna niet toegankelijk zonder bijbetalen (20eur per dag pp). Rond het zwembad was de tuin absoluut niet onderhouden en stond er overal onkruid, dringend nodig om tuinmannen in te schakelen... Slaapkamer en badkamer is aan upgrade toe. Lobby en restaurant zijn wel mooi en modern ingericht. Ontbijt was lekker en uitgebreid. Te veel betaald voor hetgeen maar geboden wordt, bijbetalen voor sauna niet meer van deze tijd.

Voedselresten van de vorige bewoners bevonden zich nog voor de deur van de hotelkamer, kamer aan het einde van de gang met suboptimaal uitzicht. Verzoek voor het wisselen van de kamer werd niet op gereageerd.

Nice resort that is aging and needs updates to facilities and menus
Nice but slightly dated resort. Decent service with a bit confusing and not updated information on pool opening hours etc. The apartment had a good disposition but the overall impression was taken down by a malfunctioning a/c unit and a worn down kitchen area. Great location close to La Manga.
Our initial accomodation was overbooked, Expedia managed to get us a room with a enormous price difference at The Westin la Quinta. Ofcourse we felt lucky and we enjoyed our stay. Especially because it was way outside of our budget limit. The pueblo is very quiet, but there are other pueblos nearby where you can have fun with the native folks of Malaga. The rooms at The Westin la Quinta were adjust to a nice cool temperature suited for healthy night rest. And my apologies for my son who took a shower in the bad instead of in the shower. We had to dry up the floor with clean towels from all the water. Conclusion, way out of our budget, but definitely worth the price.
