Baymont by Wyndham Roanoke Rapids

One night stay on a road trip. No complaints

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
This has to be the most disgusting hotel I've ever been to. Couldn't stay there. Homeless smoking weed under the stairs when arrived to check in. You can't go inside to the lobby after 10 and must converse through a slot in the window. Door to the room we were given had been previously kicked in and the door casing with the security lock standing in the corner. Asked for another room and that one had dead bugs on the sheets, stained bed cover and splattered paint on the walls. BEWARE!!

Needs complete renovation, immediately concerned when I got out of the car because of the debris in the parking lot, very unkepted, cigarette butts, food containers, etc. The man who checked us in was very pleasant, checkin was easy, the room knocked you over with cleaning smell, floors were sticky, furniture was in poor condition, the arm chair was just plain filthy, the bed was VERY comfortable and clean…..breakfast buffet was so so, stale bread for toast and a gallon jug each of milk and orange juice, YOU ARE SHARING GALLON CONTAINERS WITH EVERYONE 😳😳😳, the coffee area was unkepted, sugar and crap everywhere , cheap enough stay but will choose any place next time

Very quiet , prices are great , located in a great and convenient location , the beds are very comfortable and room was clean. the staff are very welcoming and they go above and beyond , over all great stay. wouldn't definitely recommend staying here.

Do not stay here! Filthy dirty room- dirty walls, bed was barely made and had hair and debris in it. We left immediatley and went down the street.

Quiet rooms and easy to get to from the highway

Spent the night on my trip north. The manager was very friendly, easy check-in and gave me the room I wanted. Room was clean, bed comfortable.

Broken furnishings, no blankets, very sketchy. Front desk fellow was very nice.
Won't go back there.

A few blocks Fom places to eat.

After checking in we went to sleep shortly after as it was later in the night.
We noticed a scratching sound inside the walls, near AC unit.
I alerted the front desk and the attendant moved us to another room. After moving in to the second room we noticed there was no heat, as the AC controls on the unit appeared to be smashed.
I alerted the front desk again and we informed her that we could no.longer stay due to the problems.

Nice place cheap. You should start cleaning the drains in the bathroom and sweep under the beds. There was no bugs and room was clean. Needs another trash can for the bathroom too it's crazy not to have one in there. The staff was so friendly and never made me feel like I was bothering them. They deserve a raise.

We stopped at the Baymont Roanoke Rapids as we were driving north on I95 and needed a hotel that was both per and budget friendly (we were going to be there for about 7 hours). The Baymont ticked both boxes. Be aware, you get what you pay for. The bed was fine, very firm and we had our own pillows. The shower had great pressure and was hot. We never turned the television on or anything so can’t speak to that, although the room did have a microwave and small refrigerator. Some obvious pluses: great location near all kinds of amenities and restaurants. Great green space in the back for taking the dog out or even throwing a football/baseball/frisbee around. Pool area seemed nice, was obviously closed in January.

E toilet was not clean. No hand towels or kleenx.

Room was dirty, not swept, empty candy wrappers underneath chair & table, horrible towels, dingy, crunchy. Very disappointed.

Good deals.

Rooms are outdated and need of a good cleaning. Office staff couldn’t get weekly rates straightened out and had it messed up with multiple different rooms.
