Categories

Cleanliness
7.5
Mostly described as clean visually, but multiple reports of maintenance-related dirtiness (dirty jetted tub, dirty closet) and one serious report of bed bug bites lowered this score.
Service
10
Consistently praised: friendly, helpful front desk and breakfast attendant; fast check-in and staff interactions were a clear highlight across reviews.
Location
9.8
Frequently noted as centrally located and convenient — close to attractions, stores and restaurants (Cracker Barrel nearby).
Room Quality
8.3
Beds and pillows were repeatedly called comfortable; rooms show age and there were several maintenance issues (AC noise/squeal, door lock problems, broken/dirty closet sliding door).
Amenities
8.2
Breakfast and features like a jetted tub are positives, but the pool was often reported as very cold and some amenities (tub jets) were dirty or not well maintained.
Value for Money
9.8
Multiple guests called it a great value and said they would stay again, indicating strong perceived value relative to price.
Food and Beverage
9
Breakfast was generally praised (better than many complimentary options) and staff restocked items, though choices for non-dairy/vegetarian guests were limited.
Overall Experience
8.6
Overall positive with many guests satisfied and willing to return, but isolated serious issues (bed bugs report, maintenance and noise problems) tempered some stays.

Pros:

Checkin was fast and easy! The room was clean, and the beds and pillows were super comfy! There was a ticking in the A/C unit that made it kind of hard to get to sleep, but after dozing off, I rested very well! Breakfast was very minimal with little to no non-dairy or meatless options. I was grateful when the attendant restocked oatmeal packets although there were no toppings or fruit available. Overall, we were pleased with our stay.

Pros:

Staff is amazing - breakfast was OK, better than most complimentary breakfast options. The property and rooms are clean but you see its age. Think about going to grandmas house - it’s clean and not concerned about staying there but it’s older. A few things didn’t work in the room - nothing that I would mark stars off for - every business has general maintenance. Would definitely stay here again if we are in this area.
