This was our second time staying here. let me tell you, this place is incredible!!! The water park is a ton of fun and the arcade is a blast too. Above all, the staff is INCREDIBLE!!! The staff was SO accommodating!!! Anything we needed or asked for, they were more than happy to help us. What a fantastic staff! I hope the owners see this review. I hope the staff gets raises or get a bonus of some kind! They deserve it!

Overall the hotel and waterpark were really fun for our 2.5 year old and 6 month old! The waterpark had a great toddler area, deepest part was less than 2ft which allowed our toddler to float, swim, and play easily. The room was spacious and we were on the bottom floor which was nice for going to the waterpark. One of the days a staff member working the waterpark was very vigilant and made sure everyone was following pool rules which felt very safe but the other times it seemed like the staff were just standing by the pool not enforcing many rules.

The downfalls:
-the toddler area ended up being overrun with teen boys there for a sports tournament, which wouldn’t of been a big deal but they would wrestle, go down the slides, and leave little room for the toddlers to play.
-the toddler attractions that usually spray water or are interactive were broken and didn’t work all weekend. Bummer but our toddler still had fun just playing in the water.
-there were no staff members controlling the rules of the lazy river in the evenings. The kids staying for the sports tournament took it over and were swimming against the current, wrestling in it, etc. so you couldn’t float in a tube. There also was no one at the top of the water slides so kids would just go right on top of eachother and end up wrestling or dunking eachother and blocking the stairs at the end of the water slides.
-our room seemed clean until we were leaving and we started looking under chairs/curtains for toys we would’ve left behind. Instead we found a paper plate and a moldy strawberry (didn’t have either while we stayed).
-our kids got rashes from the pool (hives, itching, redness) but this was warned about prior to entering!

It was a pleasant stay for the most part, just seemed like a lot of rules weren’t enforced but everyone seemed to be having a lot of fun. Wish the toddler attractions worked and the teens were kept out of the toddler area.

Our stay at Rapid River Lodge was wonderful! We went with a group of friends and they were able to accommodate all of us including a family of 7.
The rooms were clean and seemed to be newly renovated which helped make our stay comfortable.
The waterpark was perfect for our kids who ranged from 9 months-10 years old. It wasn't too large and we were able to watch the young kids in the splash pad area and the older kids going down the slides and the lazy river. The kids especially loved the hot tub and thought it was so cool they could go outside.
The staff were very accommodating and all the guests were respectful and quiet.
Definitely will stay there again!

Adequate…they presented a variety esp for the families with children.

The breakfast was awesome! So many different things to choose from.

Great location, comfortable beds, perfect waterpark for younger kids, well staffed with super friendly people and a good breakfast!

Rooms were very spacious and clean! Water park was also very clean.
