The beds were comfy! Room was nice!
It was loud and not super clean. The noise going on around the hotel kept us up at night. Walls are thin!
Location
Needed some sprucing up.
Clean, well kept, excellent breakfast
The breakfast was good, room was comfortable and staff pleasant.
First: front doors were not working so every time you went in and out you had to manually slide the doors open.
Second: because of exterior painting, every window was covered verged with plastic so once you were in your room there was no way to see outside.
Staff was great, didn't like plastic on the window due to the building being painted. We like to be able to see outside
Booking.com, will never use that site again
We stayed at another Comfort Suites in West Memphis, AR, the night before, and we chose to stay here the next night as well, because their room and bathroom are very spacious. We drove for long hours every day for our road trip. It was very nice to stay in this kind of comfortable room after a long drive. The staff members were as nice and professional as any other ones in West Memphis.
Here again! The ice vending machine on our floor was out of order (no sign about it either). I went to another floor to get the ice. It was kind of funny that the same thing happened at 2 different Comfort Suites, 2 nights in a row.
It was nice
It’s was just ok
This review is based on a 4-night stay while was in the area for a work assignment. I chose this location primarily because the reviews are good and their rates were significantly lower than the nearby competition.
Check-in was efficient, although the attendant sits so low behind the front desk that you can’t see them until right at the desk. Also, I could do without having to decline sales offers on the POS terminal.
I stayed in a queen suite, and the room was clean and in good repair. The AC worked well. The bed made a light bong noise each time I sat down on it or got up, which was likely audible below me.
The bathroom in my quarters had a separate bath/toilet, and getting the door to that area closed while inside it was tough because it is TIGHT in there.
The outside of the facility was getting painted, which didn’t affect my stay other than I couldn’t see out of the window. However, the rest of the place needs repairs made. The automatic entrance doors were no longer automatic and had to be pushed open by hand. They remained that way the entire 4 days and that’s an entrapment hazard in case of fire.
The juice dispenser was offline the entire 4 days as well with no alter source of juice offered. There was a gnat flying around the sliced bread. I also noticed that the outside door at the bottom of the stairwell was propped open, which it shouldn’t be. That allows anyone off the street to enter the stairs, and the rooms.
Of note is that this place attracts workers with their well-known poor manners such as stomping around the room for hours at a time, loud TV’s and loitering in the parking lot. All of that was present here.
I appreciate the lower rate but the condition of the property will cause me to stay elsewhere next time.
No Pool
I would have liked to have known before I booked
No pool
Clean, comfortable, convenient. Good tv.
