Pros:

I love the breakfast. They also give you 2 free drinks at the bar. It is also located right across from the beachfront.

Cons:

The only downside for me is that the check in is very late in the afternoon.

Pros:

I liked the breakfast and the happy hour. The bar tender and kitchen staff were excellent. Very professional.

Cons:

I didn't like the visible changes that I saw. I was just here last year and now the seats in the common area are all torn and the carpet in the hallway areas are filthy. The chairs in the guest room were also torn. The visible nasty hand marks on the seats in the common area needed to be steam cleaned or replaced as well. I wish I would have taken pictures but I didn't.

Pros:

The staff was very kind and helpful. There was a nice cocktail hour so you get a good sense of community with other guests. Great care was taken for all of the amenities.

Phenomenal Service and amenities!
Pros:

Yes, the hotel/ rooms are outdated and the seats may need some re-upholstery, but the service and amenities are TOP NOTCH!
I loved the atmosphere that this hotel had and all the seating areas to hang out with your family and friends. Every person whether it was the front desk, bartenders, omelet chefs, table service or the dining staff all were so cheerful and hard working! I was so impressed at our breakfast because the staff was constantly monitoring what needed to be refilled, cleaning tables off and taking our dirty dishes away as if you were in a sit down restaurant! Fabulous! Also, I know this is an Embassy Suites perk of evening reception, but their evening reception goes from 4pm-8pm so you have plenty of time to enjoy your two free drinks which is unheard of! We stayed at the Embassy suites in Chattanooga on our way home and were very disappointed to find out their complementary evening reception only went from 4-5:30, so unfortunately we missed out on that perk there because we arrived at 6pm- so disappointing! The Rum Punch at Embassy in Miramar was my FAVORITE! Also, the beach is so close and with our own private access was wonderful! The gate lock out to the beach is getting a bit finicky, so that needed to be looked at. It was very impressive and greatly appreciated to come to a clean room of no sandy floors every day too! Heads up the TV’s are NOT smart TV’s so they don’t have the capability to link up your Netflix, Hulu etc. but there do have good ol’ fashioned cable where you can watch classic movies like the Goonies or Spider-Man with commercials and all! So if that is going to be a problem we suggest bringing your Amazon Fire stick with you.
All in all we were very happy with our stay!

Dissatisfaction with the general appearance of the hotel
Pros:

We stayed at this Embassy Suites in Miramar Beach in March 2026 for 5 nights. While the hotel is kept relatively clean, the furniture and decor throughout the hotel is in poor condition. For example, the shower curtain was torn, the drapes in the bedroom were quite frayed and the carpet through the hotel was worn and dirty. In the dining area, all of the tables were sticky and chair material (assume that it was fake leather) was cracked and peeling. In addition, while our suite had three lamps, the light bulb in each lamp was not strong enough to use to read.
