The shower was great and the bath products were great.
The bed pillows were a little too flat.
The staff was the sweetest and the location is PERFECT!
Loved everything.
The room itself.
The eveing/night shift clerk. The awkward elevator entry. The fact that we asked for close rooms for the 2 we booked but were on completely different floors. That the room with the children was directly across from the staff laundry, which was loud. That somehow the request we made turned into a request for early check-in, which we did but it wasn't requested. That we were charged more then we were supposed to be charged. That when we went to the front desk clerk to ask about the extra charges they immediately got an attitude and when we smiled big at them they took offense to it. That the desk clerk made it very clear that they were the only one working and they were not happy that they were having to bring towels to the pool, or help guests that were patiently waiting for them.
The staff was very nice
There were multiple cockroachs in the hotel, management had been notified and we never heard back from them at all. Very unhappy with the bugs and cleanliness of the hotel
Location was what we needed.
We came in late. The room smelled and we found two silverfish. We asked for a different room, but we were told it was full. The parking lot was not full. The next morning, there was almost no one at breakfast. We think they lied.
We have been loyal Holiday Inn Express (platinum) travelers for many years. This was by far the worst experience we have ever had. When we checked in, we were briefly told about an “eco fee,” which we waived. We generally ask for light housekeeping. Little did we know was that if we waived the eco fee, we could not get new towels each day and our garbage taken out. (They have also removed Keurigs from the rooms). We went back to our room after being out and nothing had been done. I called downstairs and talked to Grace who was clearly not happy with my request. I also mentioned we needed a roll of toilet paper. She came to the room, clearly not happy, and proceeded to take out old towels, gave us new ones and emptied the trash. I asked her about the toilet paper, she looked in the bathroom and I said I would get it the next day. My husband had to go out to the car to get something and stopped by the front desk to ask for the toilet paper. She asked his room number and he said what difference does it make. She said “did you waive the eco fee?” He said “I’m just asking for toilet paper and she proceeded to go after him asking about the eco fee. THEN, she called me and asked me if my husband just picked up a roll of toilet paper and I said “Is this Grace?” and I just hung up. Apparently Grace is the rude eco fee police and she has a serious attitude. Everything about the hotel has gone down and I saw other reviews that said contacting the manager about the eco fee is a waste of time. From our understanding, the “voluntary” eco fee is to be used for the environment but it is up to the individual management how to use it. The Holiday Inn is expensive enough and we will NOT being going back here again!
the breakfast was good. it needed to have bacon. the location was close to the things on our list to do.
our stay was fine. we asked for adjoining rooms, but they were across the hall from each other. kind of hard to interact with each other in the hallway.
Easily accessible. Friendly staff. Very clean and quiet.
It was awful dirty and ac did not work appropriately they agreed to refund my money now they haven’t.
Everything
The breakfast.
The common areas were dirty. No floor cleaning apparent. Stairs stayed filthy all week. Dirty mop buckets left out in public view. No table sanitizer. Trash bins were allowed to overflow.
Pool area cloudy and dirty, towels had to be asked for.
Location
Only one employee when we checked in and no one to cover the desk when she had to go to the bathroom.
Location & familiarity.
Being woke up by a dog that barked for over 2 hours.
They helped when I had a toddler with me
