Loved my stay at this hotel. Central to shopping area
Pros:

Ate mainly in the artisan. Great food items to eat in a rush. Had the brunch on Sunday. Great selection

Cons:

Would have liked to have fresh orange juice.
The cost of buffet expensive for children that don’t eat much. Did not realize the cost per person until I got the bill

Did not meet the usual fairmont expectations
Pros:

Comfy bed. Good cocktails in the bar, the complimentary tart because it was our anniversary was a nice touch.

Cons:

Rooms are small and poky, elevator lobby carpets are filthy, the pool / hot tub situation is very poor. Tiny, cold pool- not enough seats or even any hooks to put your robe or towel on, the hot tub was just slightly bigger than a bath. Location would be good if in town for work but we would have been better off staying in the old part of town for what we had decided to do. Compared to other fairmonts - this one really didn’t have enough character to help get past the shabbiness or tiny rooms.

The weekend was fun.

The location was perfect for a concert at the Bell Centre. Nice to have all meals available on site.

Pros:

Great location. Wonderful deli/cafe off entrance lobby. Friendly barman. Good gym.

Cons:

Sometimes very busy in entrance lobby and waits for check in/out. Some gym equipment would benefit from cleaning/maintenance.
