We enjoyed our stay- the room was comfortable and clean- we were however disappointed that the terrace was open rather than the indoor bar/lounge- the terrace has a different vibe than “sexy cocktail time”. There was a large convention so the terrace was busy- all the tables with hightop chairs were taken. We were sat on the lounge chairs that were less than 1 foot off the ground- it was a bit cool and just not relaxing or the vibe we were after. Our fave part of Fairmont properties are having cocktails at the Rundle Bar in Banff and Bar 1608 in Quebec City.

The hotel is fabulous and so was the room. I have to dig deep to think what could be better but I couldn’t figure out how to change the shower away from the overhead to the hand held one. It wasn’t a deal breaker just a preference - so a little irritating. But congratulations for such a great experience!!

The hotel was beautiful. The wait for the elevators was absolutely horrendous. It took away at least 2-3 hours of our stay there because it took 30 minutes to get on the elevator every time. There obviously weren't enough working elevators for the number of guests. We also ate at the in-hotel restaurant. The choices were limited and the food was not great although the service was excellent. The gym, pool, sauna facilities were excellent.
