Location and staff. Couldn’t ask for a better location to get on a cruise (across the street from the dock). Staff were very helpful.
The food was average and seemed somewhat overpriced
All was awesome!
The baggage service.
Fantastic location right across from the cruise dock, making it incredibly convenient. There are also plenty of things to do nearby, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The rooms are newly renovated and spotless. There was a slight paint smell, but that’s understandable with recent updates. The staff were very helpful and added to the overall positive experience. Overall, a great stay—just on the pricier side.

I stayed in Fairmont Waterfront for 2 nights on business, attending Web Summit in Canada Place next door. Very convenient: close proximity to major convention center, and to so many other attractions. Plus it is waterfront, so this is great location all along. Tasteful common areas, polished and friendly service. Early check in was requested and granted, and so was an upgraded room on 20th floor with the great view. ALL Accor Platinum status helped there. Oh, and front desk personnel was top notch. Nice bar, friendly bartenders. Room was ample sized, well decorated, everything looked clean and fresh. Platinum amenity was also a nice touch. Well stocked and fairly large bathroom. No complaints. Well, it is expensive, and, even with high rates, it was a good value in this case. Highly recommend!
Location excellent, staff couldn’t do enough for you and went above and beyond, food good although on the high side, facilities were everything you could ask for. Nothing negative to say. Exceptional stay.
Food and drinks, especially mini bar very expensive.
The Gold Floor experience doesn't disappoint! The king room with a harbour view of Stanley Park was excellent. The check in experience was seamless and the Gold Floor lounge was calm and hospitable. The concierge was knowledgeable on the wine list and went out of her way to make us feel special. Jasmine made our experience memorable. The food was great, featuring breakfast, daily snacks, evening canapes, and late night sweet treats.
The room view of the Port was tremendous. the Bell desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Great location and excellent service
It’s a bit tired
The property is beautiful. The location is right by the water. We had a corner room with great views out of two huge windows. The room was large and comfortable. The bathroom had lots of space and soft, fluffy towels. The staff were very attentive. We would stay at the Waterfront again.
Great location for what we needed, hotel room, was nice enough, all the staff, super helpful really made the few days stay amazing. The recommendations and knowledge from them was top notch. The stand out star of the team was Mikey in valet/bell, went above and beyond to help us return a rental, super friendly, happy in his job. Thank you Mikey, you deserve a raise!
Best staff ever!
Coming from the UK, we wanted convenience and comfort the night before our cruise departing from Vancouver. I'm delighted to say that the Fairmont Waterfront delivered this and more!
Upon arriving, we had a warm welcome from bell services out front, plus an equally friendly welcome from Garry as we checked in.
Upon arriving at our room, we were delighted with the spacious size, wonderful city view, quality of fittings, comfort of the beds, and most importantly: the cleanliness.
We loved being able to take the lift down to the shopping center underneath the hotel. Not to mention the proximity to the cruise terminal and the complimentary luggage service which saved us precious beats of stress on our embarkation day.
If you're taking a cruise out of Vancouver, I'd wholeheartedly recommend this hotel as the go-to. The on-site amenities, friendly staff, and luxury feel throughout were definitely worth the room rate.
I was so pleased I chose this hotel after our long trip from Australia. We had a harbour view suite and it was absolutely perfect my adult daughter and I. It was spacious with two separate rooms, the bathrooms were big and the view was spectacular. It was a little old but this in no way diminished the comfort and experience of this room. We had the buffet breakfast each morning (and dinner one evening) which was delicious and the wait staff in the restaurant were all so friendly. In fact, every staff member at the hotel was exceptional; this is clearly a service-based hotel. We also loved the free bike hire which we used to ride around Stanley Park and the heated rooftop pool was a big bonus (except for the unsupervised hyperactive small child who hopped in the pool with me at 9.30pm while his father sat in the gym - some parents!!) Lastly, you cannot beat the location being right next to the water and within easy reach to walking paths, restaurants, shopping, Stanley Park, Gas Town, etc. I highly recommend and look forward to returning one day.
