Strange fragrance in lobby.
Friendly staff, 30 minutes to wedding in South Salem, 30 minutes to Daryl’s House for a show, Trader Joe’s around the corner for snacks.
Noise cancellation could have been better.

All the other Hilton garden inns (some of them down right suck ) SHOULD follow how this one in Danbury CT conducts and takes care of the business of making one’s stay here a happy time and comfortable time. It’s super clean, rooms equipped with shelves, great TV service !!! Your not stuck watching crap— you can QR code your streaming stations and rest assured you can clock out out of them too—
The Hilton Garden in DANBURY CT IS DONE RIGHT !!!!!! And I CAN’T say that about the many I have been in !!!! — don’t assume all Hilton garden inns are same — BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT LIKE THIS ONE! :-)

Easy to get to. Clean and comfy

This hotel is absolutely fabulous. The staff are all so friendly, and helpful. There's Brittany, the manager who always has a smile on her face.Nicole, who works in the sales department who is wonderful also. So friendly and kind...The front desk staff, Elizabeth, Krisoff, Madeline and others..The breakfazt staff are always pleasant and helpful..Sara, Ismenia, Kailey and Stacy..also...maintenence Nelson and Jacob... Andrea keeps a close eye on housekeeping always willing to assist. The hotel is kept immaculately clean and they service your room every two days... we have been here for two weeks so far and absolutely love it. We are out of our home because of a water damage problem.. Highly recommend this hotel ... Hilton Garden Inn Danbury, Connecticut. Free parking, beautiful grounds including a seating area with a fire pit.

The staff was excellent and our room was comfortable and clean.
The hotel was hosting a group of 10 year old lacrosse players who were loud unruly and who took over the entire facility indoors and out. They were on the lawn outside, they were running through the hallways screaming they were bumping into people in the lobby and were totally unsupervised. The staff at the hotel was overwhelmed by this unbelievably unsupervised behavior and I cannot believe it was allowed to go on. I asked for my room to be comped it was so bad. They said they could do nothing to reduce my room rate....because I booked the room through booking.com.
One night at this hotel was $427
I could have stayed down the road at a Microtel for less than half the cost.
Maybe there I would expect bad behavior but I certainly did not expect this from Hilton. Additionally I will be more careful before I ever book through booking.com again
The fire alarm going off for over an hour. Second time in a week. The AC was also not working properly either
