Categories

Cleanliness
7.5
Mixed signals: many guests repeatedly note rooms were "very clean," but a few reviews report musty smells, ants on the floor and housekeeping inconsistencies; overall slightly above target but tempered by these issues.
Service
8.6
Consistently praised: multiple mentions of friendly, attentive and helpful staff (manager named), smooth mobile check-in and banquet staff; boosted slightly to reflect strong service which offsets some weaker areas.
Location
8.5
Frequently cited as a strength: convenient, safe and attractive neighborhood with large parking and easy access — a clear positive across reviews.
Room Quality
6.5
Several guests report dated rooms and maintenance problems (wallpaper peeling, bath wear, broken handles, lampshade/valve issues, occasional mustiness); comfortable beds noted but overall room quality is below par.
Amenities
7.4
Good on-site amenities noted (pool, parking, in-room fridge/microwave/Keurig, pleasant outdoor areas), but detractors include no free continental breakfast and limited bar hours.
Value for Money
6.8
Mixed to negative: some callers say "decent for the $," while others feel it is "too expensive for dated rooms" and note missing complimentary breakfast, lowering perceived value.
Food and Beverage
8
Generally positive: banquet food and on-site restaurant receive praise and an adjacent restaurant garnered strong comments; downside is limited bar hours and lack of free breakfast.
Overall Experience
7.5
Overall impression is positive primarily because staff and service often compensate for an aging property; many guests would stay again despite dated rooms and some maintenance issues.

A cozy place that truly makes you feel at home!
Pros:

The staff is very friendly and attentive. The hotel is cozy and makes you feel at home. The food and drinks at the restaurant are excellent. The parking area, gardens, and surrounding neighborhood are beautiful. It's a wonderful place to stay!

Cons:

Some room maintenance issues need attention, including a damaged sanitary valve, and a lampshade cover; items that required maintenance during different stays.
My impression of housekeeping remains the same. There is still room for improvement.

Pros:

With Hilton Honors, you can check-in and access your room with your mobile app. It was so easy, we didn’t have to make contact with anyone the entire stay. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

Cons:

It was a little loud at times, the walls are a slightly thin but it didn’t hinder our sleep.
