I will definitely stay again

It was a perfect experience! I called several times before we arrived and spoke with Kathy each time. She was able to accommodate ALL of our requests. [My sister had reserved a separate room. She suffers from anxiety and her room needed to be close to ours.] Kathy definitely got our stay off to a great start before we even arrived! We could tell that a lot of thought went into the design of the room/bathroom/furniture. If we ever travel that way again, rest assured we'll stay with you! PS The breakfast was excellent, too... :-)

Overall, this hotel was an excellent location and space. Highly recommended for all.
Pros:

Breakfast was amazing and the location was extremely central. Highly recommended for anyone traveling to DC but not wanting to stay in DC yet wanting accessibility!

Cons:

Only thing that was negative about my experience was the fire alarm going off in the middle of the night with no type of incentives for the disruption. Really disturbed my rest for the next day I had ahead, but I know that wasn't something they could prevent :) Also, the doors did not seem the most secure, as a female traveler, safety is important. Thankfully, the staff was attentive and responsive so there were no issues.

It was underwhelming
Pros:

The bed was comfortable.

Cons:

The big window in the bathroom was unnecessary. There was a draft coming in from the window. The spa tub was dirty. My lady could not even enjoy it for her birthday.

Staff was friendly. Room was clean.
Pros:

The staff were helpful. The breakfast was good. I also liked the cookies after hours. The coffee and tea bar was nice.

Cons:

The wheels on the room cart was barely working. Probably need a couple more room carts. The canister that was just for water on the coffee and tea bar strongly tasted of coffee and wasn't usable for tea or hot chocolate.

I was late for breakfast

Cons:

There was no television service on the property and we weren't notified before we got there ,check in time was3pmwe got there approximately 6pm so there was adequate time to be notified. Bed covers torn.
