Comfort Inn Saco - Old Orchard Beach

This hotel is being used as section 8 housing for Somalians . It’s dirty, smelly and the staff is down right rude unless you’re a Somalian staying there. This place has been turned into welfare housing . DIGUSTING ! Stay far away from this place

I last stayed at this hotel in January 2022 and it was great. Not sure what has happened between then and now, but we stopped in today to get a room for the night and there was a handwritten sign on the door saying “no vacancy”. There appeared to be a many people LIVING at the hotel and a large part of the parking lot was even blocked off so that the kids living there could ride their bicycles. When I went in to inquire, the staff looked at me like how dare I ask for a room at a hotel. I spoke with the general manager and overall just didn’t get a good feeling from him, the staff, or the people who appeared to be living there. There’s something shady going on for sure. Steer clear.

Booked through booking.com. HUGE mistake. Arrived at the destination to find the location is closed! For others that got a cancellation notice, good for you! I’m currently fighting for a refund. Booking is saying the location was open at the time of the reservation. NO IT WASN’T! I don’t hold Comfort responsible as I didn’t book through them. Lesson learned. Not the first time booking.com has BURNED me.

Made reservations in feb, In may I get a call reservations are cancelled!!!!!!!! what kind of rinky dink operation is this? they said they were closing WTF now I see I'm not the only person that got screwed by them I will never stay at a comfort inn or any of their properties again

I agree with Geoff R. Less than a week away from a reservation we made in Feb they let us know they were closing. And not even a phone call, just a one line email saying sorry we are closing and your reservation is cancelled. Good customer service would have given us alternatives at least. No customer service here!!!

Be prepared to have your room taken away moments before checking in. It doesn't matter how far in advance you make a reservation to this hotel chain. They'll blame a glitch in the system and not even pretend to care after they've ruined your plans. STAY AWAY. I really hope the GM of Saco Comfort Inn gets Fired!!!!!

This comfort inn at Saco ME was a good choice. Everything was clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was a definite plus for us. Was a great experience overall. Would recommend this.

It was right off the highway so it was easy to find. It was also easy to get into town to the stores and the restaurants.

Great smaller sized hotel. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Parking was easy!

Room and entire hotel was very clean. Plenty of options at the breakfast. All staff were very pleasant.

I arrived mid-afternoon on April 9, 2022. I got room 217, one of the best accessible rooms, which was perfect for my disabled knees. Throughout the visit, the staff was friendly and helpful, and so were the guests. Breakfast was top notch, and I was able to get bottles of water from the vending machine when my water cups were gone. The only real problem I had was with the TV channel lineup. They did not have Investigation Discovery or Oxygen, so I was short on entertainment, aside from local news and a couple of movies. The bed was soft and comfortable, and so was the rest of the furniture. I don't know if I'll come back for another visit.

Visiting UNE with our son we stayed over this past weekend, very conveniently nearby the campus, very comfortable beds, unfortunately, there was a basketball team so they were rather loud, other than that I recommend this other for its location and comfort.

Was not able to sleep at all due to screaming,yelling and slamming of doors .. I was on the 4th floor it was aweful and I had to drive 10 hours the next day home

Checked into my room to discover a big keak in the ceiling and wall. It was late so I did not mention it that night. When I told the front desk agent the next morning they did not offer me any solution and just told me that there is consturction on the 5th floor (i was on the 2nd). Left without finishing my stay.
