Clean bedroom area, baths need work
Pros:

The breakfast was ok and yhe bed was comfortable.

Cons:

The ceiling leaked in the bathroom on the floor and sink. The was mold growing down the bathroom wall in the first room. We asked for a new room for night 2 and the tub drained so slowly that the water was over my ankles after a very quick shower. Both rooms had a very musty smell.

Good overnight stay when traveling.
Pros:

The breakfast was quite varied and there was something for everyone; juice, water cereal, hot food like eggs and breakfast potatoes, muffins and bread. Coffee and tea of. course.

Cons:

My wife and I travelled from Florida to Iowa and had several stays. Whilst the breakfast here was quite varied and one of the best we sampled, that doesn't necessarily mean healthy. Most places also use disposable plates and cutlery to keep costs down and profits up, which isn't so good for the customer.

Great hotel that caters to families with dogs with an outstanding breakfast and big pool.
Pros:

Pool was great. It's so big and clean. The rooms were clean, even for the pet rooms. The AC was cold. The shower was hot. The breakfast was amazing.

Cons:

I just wish we could have had more time. And a booklet of local menus and pizza joints in the area.

Don't go here if you are a eldery white female, you will get treated like trash!
Pros:

The older man who runs the hotel was wonderful and the housekeeper and female front receptionist were great. The breakfast was good and filling.

Cons:

The two young male Indian workers at the desk screamed at me at the same time. My credit card did not work for the incidentals even though I prepaid for the week. They told me I would be banned from the hotel if I tried a third card and it did not work. I went to get my husband and his card worked. I am a 66 year old elderly white woman being yelled at by the young workers. I could of stayed anywhere a lot cheaper but I booked with them because I had a good experience in 2025. I felt very threatened by their behavior. They were male and Indian and thought it was OK to yell and threaten a elderly white women.

Unexpectedly interesting and quiet hotel that everyone including the family dog enjoyed.
Pros:

We loved having a sliding glass door access to the courtyard- which was a very pleasant space. Our dog loved it in particular. The hotel was easily accessible but pretty quiet for being so close to the interstate. The breakfast was in a fun space and was tasty.

Nostalgic. Fond memories for when it was Jumers Continental Inn years past.
Pros:

Friendly staff, clean & working pool with toys, great breakfast made for an enjoyable stay!
Pros:

The location is off the interstate, but we didn't hear any traffic noise by selecting a courtyard room. It's off by itself a little which added to the relaxing mood. The courtyard had flowers and trees to look at. The pool area was beautiful, clean, and had pool toys for the kids!!! The breakfast was outstanding: your cereal and muffin/bagel options, but also a waffle maker with toppings! Real eggs, seasoned potatoes, and sausage links in a fancy warmer! The restaurant/breakfast area had interesting pictures that gained awareness to the train museum in town and a piano.The lobby bathrooms were very clean and nice. The lobby had refreshments and snacks available at some point.

Cons:

The rooms are slightly dated...not as colorful and bright as other places. I think there were some skills games machines in the main lobby (which kids can be drawn to and as a parent, kind of a turn off.)

Pros:

Staff was great. Clean for the age of the motel. Breakfast was good. All around, good experience and would recommend it for sure. We will be staying there again if we travel that way.
