Great location, and preservation of the original building.
Cons:

"Breakfast" was not appealing.
Only green apples or old oranges. The packaged items did not appeal, as they were packaged in plastic... ugh.

Loved the Fireplace. Brought wood to our room and started us a fire. Porch was so inviting. Stay here every year.

We loved the location, the room was spacious & very clean.

Cons:

We were in room 109. We could hear everything in the room above us. The guest were very loud, they were waking up at 5:30 am, we could hear their footsteps, noises & it woke us up each day. We also could see & hear people walking around outside our room on the street.

Bathroom too small, property needs updating, Wi-Fi didn’t work for our computer, staff was unable to resolve. We won’t stay here again.

Our stay was totally enjoyable. Glad we booked here.
Pros:

The Hotel Chimayo de Santa Fe is in a great location, very close to the Plaza, shopping, and restaurants. The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is great. The hotel has a charming southwest rustic vibe.

Cons:

Because it’s an older property, you have to accept the HVAC quirk (only heat or ac depending on the time of year). The bathroom is large but there was an awkward step up to get into the tub/shower.

Overpriced
Pros:

Great location for downtown walks.
Staff was friendly
Room was clean and comfortable
The price was, in my opinion, way too much for what you got.
I have a mystery billing that I’ve messaged the hotel about (twice) and I still haven’t received an answer.
I would not stay there again, there are better hotels with much lower rates nearby

It’s a great value considering you can use the beautiful pool at a sister property.
Pros:

Conveniently located in town. Sister properties have pools and spa facilities. The restaurant at the hotel is very charming- we did not eat there but wished we had.

Cons:

A breakfast service would be great but they did provide coffee and fruit in the AM, which was nice.

Need to try this beautiful old hotel at least once if stay in Santa Fe.
Pros:

Close to the Plaza. Beautiful building. Very friendly and helpful male staff.

Cons:

Because it was first time I stayed, I didn’t know there was no elevators for left side upstairs rooms. The stairs were quite steep and long so difficult to carry suits cases. My room mate was elderly and had not perfect mobility so it was a pain.
