Overall, I would stay at this hotel again. I have already recommended it to friends and family.
Pros:

We loved our stay at Hotel Chimayo! The location is perfect. It’s located in downtown which made it easy to walk to restaurants and other sites to see. The staff is super friendly. I was a little stressed about over flow parking but they made it easy to navigate. The hotel rooms were clean and we never felt like we were missing anything. I would stay here again.

Cons:

We do wish the hotel rooms had fans. Even a mini fan would be nice. The rooms can be slightly stuffy so this could help with air flow. Luckily it was not super hot so we still slept comfortably.

Charming hotel at a great price.
Pros:

The room was great, large and comfortable and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Bonus; sisters hotel, The Loretta, allows you to use their workout room and pool.

Cozy and central Santa Fe stay.
Pros:

Beautiful old property with bar and restaurant on site. Helpful staff.

Cons:

Some of the rooms are small, but to be expected in an old historic building. Still cozy and comfortable, as well as conveniently located.

Would return if the rooms were updated.
Pros:

The location right off the old town plaza in Santa Fe is terrific. The staff were very nice and helpful.

Cons:

The rooms are dated and small, especially the bathroom. It was also very dark with no natural light getting through the dark curtains.
The windows on the alley side were not clean

Fantastic hotel just steps away from the Santa Fe plaza
Pros:

Perfect location just two blocks from the plaza. Hotel itself is lovely with a homey yet elegant vibe. Staff were friendly and informative. Room was large and comfortable with a beautiful super-sized bathroom. Appreciated the refreshments area with mini fridge and Keurig for coffee and tea, and the private bistro set outside the room (3rd floor) to enjoy the view.

Cons:

Not a dislike, but more information/instructions before arrival about the parking situation (underground lot, pull to the front if no spaces and expect to leave your keys, etc.) would be helpful to many guests, I think.

Also, in our room on the 3rd floor there was a staircase/fire exit that was appreciated but also fairly open in the middle of the room. Some amber or low-level night lights on the inside of those staircase walls would be a nice safety feature so someone stumbling around the room in the dark doesn't misstep and fall down a steep flight of stairs.

Amazing Staycation in Santa Fe NM!!!
Pros:

I'm from Santa Fe and have always wanted to stay at this property. It was fabulous and the rooms and location are perfect. I highly recommend for families or couples as the rooms are very nice and well appointed. It is also awesome that they have their own parking garage because this was very helpful.

Lovely old hotel, close to the Plaza.
Pros:

A very central comfortable hotel.In the old Santa Fe style. A wonderful verandah out the front to sop on a drink and watch yhe world go by.
