Planning a week-long, offsite training for 25+ people from all over the country is never easy. Working with Tianna LaRosa was honestly one of the best experiences I've had and I've been doing this a long time! Tianna was quick to reply, very helpful and went above and beyond to make our team feel at home in Tampa. It's one thing for a client to adore her but it's something special when you sit in a lobby and hear all of the employees speak nothing but kind words for their boss. THAT should not be taken lightly! The entire staff treated our team with respect and fun! The hotel is perfectly positioned in the heart of downtown and is walkable to tons of great restaurants and bars. We absolutely will be back and will look no further than Tianna and her team at Residence Inn! Huge thanks!!

This hotel experience was amazing. Tiana LaRosa was the absolute best at helping us set up our group visit. She returned phone calls and answered every single question we had. Would highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in the Tampa area.

The breakfast was a typical chain hotel buffet. Not great, but not horrible. The room was spacious but very worn and only moderately clean. The outdoor space pictured in the photos was almost unrecognizable due to it being so worn down but it did have plenty of seating outside. There was a basketball court which is nice for kids but also noisy.

Staff is incredible. They are so friendly and welcoming. They definitely make you feel like a guest.

The location was great for us being close to our UTampa student and a very walkable downtown.

And 15 minute drive to airport TPA

The proximity to airport & our convention venue along the River Walk. The very spacious room and abundant breakfast that included lots of variety and most importantly fresh fruit.

It was close to the port, Room had everything you needed if you were staying longer than a night. Easy to check in. Friendly staff

We stayed here the night before a cruise because it’s located a short drive from the port. There’s a pull through near the door making it convenient to register. We were greeted warmly and recognized as frequent Marriott guests. There were multiple luggage carts available but they were extremely difficult to push over the brick sidewalk. There’s garage parking across the street for a fee.

Our room was on the seventh floor. The room was comfortable, clean, and well stocked with supplies. Curtains closed completely so no lights shone through. The AC worked well. Linens were good quality. The water pressure was strong.

The lobby and breakfast areas were also clean and accommodating. The hotel breakfast was good with someone cleaning tables frequently. They had cut fruit, whole fruit, waffles, candied bacon, fried potatoes, scrambled eggs with cheese, and additional fare like yogurt and bagels. I will say this was the most crowded breakfast room I’ve seen, with people waiting for seats to open up.

The thing keeping this from being a five rating was the noise level, surprisingly since we were on the top floor. I woke up multiple times throughout the night from sirens and revving engines. My husband and I both sat upright at one point from an extremely loud noise. We suspect it was a dumpster being dropped back to the ground. If you can, get a room on the courtyard side.

Excellent location within easy walking distance of river front, major sights and museums and also good for bus from/to airport, bus and streetcar links to other parts of the city. Lovely large comfortable room with everything I needed. Friendly staff. Good breakfast with choice of hot and cold food.

Good location and staff very nice. Rooms were very clean and quiet.

Location for the straz was good.

From the small incidental one off issues (missing lampshades, housekeeping never providing do-not-disturb tags or washcloths when requested) to a filthy uncared for property (the person across the hall from us had pizza boxes left out for multiple days without staff discarding them from the hallway; my bathtub constantly leaked loudly- the shower was cold the entire stay, bathtub was filthy), to running out of food every morning for breakfast while staff ignored empty bowls (8:45am and they are out of milk, yogurt, fruit, bread, jam/jelly, spoons - daily)- this place was like staying at a cheap motel. Couldn't have been more disappointed with this place. Find any other hotel in Tampa- it will be an improvement!
