Correspond parfaitement à notre attente (se reposer à l’arrivée et ne pas sortir de l’hôtel) à proximité de la gare à pied pour prendre le train tôt le lendemain matin, restaurant pour le soir varié et très bien, petit déjeuner idem, piscine pour se détendre même si les retards de vols ne nous ont pas permis de l’expérimenter. Jardin agréable pour se promener et profiter de cette première soirée.
Peu habitué à être vérifié à l’entrée systématiquement à chaque passage mais il y a sûrement une raison

Uitstekend hotel met prima kamers gelegen in het centrum van Jakarta. Ontbijt is heel uitgebreid en het hotel heeft een mooi, groot zwembad. Aardig wat beroemdheden hebben hier in het verleden ook overnacht.

I stayed at Hotel Borobudur for eight nights and really enjoyed my time there, especially for this price. The breakfast was wonderful. Every morning I was greeted with a smile, there was always plenty of space, and the variety was amazing. No matter what kind of breakfast you like, you could find it here, and everything was constantly refilled and fresh.
I was lucky to receive a free room upgrade with a view of the city. The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable. Each day the housekeeping staff did an excellent job, and the bed was always a pleasure to sleep in.
The garden of the hotel is beautiful. It is large and full of greenery, which makes it feel like a peaceful oasis in the middle of the city. The little Borobudur inside the garden is a nice detail to see. The pool is big and very enjoyable. I loved the surroundings with the palm trees, the soft lights in the evening, and the relaxing music from the lounge in the background. The pool staff were also very friendly and welcoming.
In fact, all of the staff in the hotel were wonderful. They were always ready to help with questions and arranging taxis, and they always made me feel at home. The shops and the different restaurants in the hotel are also worth mentioning, as they add even more comfort to the stay.
Hotel Borobudur has a sense of grandeur and charm. It is a lovely place to stay and I would happily come back.
When I first arrived late in the evening, the TV remote did not work and the lock on the inside of the door wasn’t working properly. But the staff immediately came to try and fix it, and even the manager came by to check personally. He also took the time to have a nice chat with me and explained some of the history of the square opposite the hotel, which I really appreciated after such a long flight. The problems were taken care of quickly and in such a friendly way that it left me with a positive impression.
