It was very relaxing

This hotel was very clean and the staff was exceptional. The lady who works the check in was great, even though she was working alone. This hotel is very clean and breakfast was very good.

There was also hair on the Keurig coffee machine.
There were weird spots on the mirror in the room.

For the price, not a pleasant stay.
Cons:

Smelled stale. Items like kleenex and shampoo and hand soap were out or almost empty. Room was musty and not very clean. Employee ( and I think there was only one) was not concerned when we told her you could feel the springs in the mattress. Shower hit and cold was reversed. For the price of the room, was not a pleasant stay.

Nickey checked us in she has outstanding customer service! Very friendly and professional. Very welcoming! The hotel was very clean, and breakfast was delicious!

Close to Palo Duro Canyon
Pros:

There aren’t many options for hotels in Canyon. This hotel was adequate. The breakfast was good. There are a few caveats. The hotel is on the Main Street just off the university campus. So it was anything but quiet. Our room was on the highway side. I asked for a room on the opposite side. The desk clerk told me it was quiet that week due to spring break. There were cars/trucks with loud exhaust until at least 10 pm. The key card system was flawed. To enter our room it took as many as 10 tries. The room was very clean. The pool was cold.

It’s a place to sleep for a night
Pros:

It was a fair price for close to palo duro canyon. Breakfast was decent.

Cons:

Our room keys never worked properly. We had them remade three times and even then only one ended up working and we left it alone. The TV was unusable also. No menu, no guide or even directions. Gibberish file folders.

Worth the value
Pros:

Clean, low noise level, easy to park and get to romms

Cons:

Check in was longer than expected, had to provide a drivers license, car tag number car color and type of vehicle. All of this could have been avoided if the these were on line.

Well lit, clean , felt very safe
Pros:

I liked the short driving distance from hotel to the canyon. The hotel was very well layed out and clean. What I liked best was that the grounds were very well lit so when I walked my dog at night, I felt very safe
