Rambler Hotel

Stayed during the week due to some dental work I needed to get in TJ. Motel is in walking distance to the Trolley (~5-7min) and 6 stops from the border.

Got a room on the first floor with a fridge and tub and far away enough from the pool that it was quiet.

Rooms are clean. Decor is retro and cute. Huge plus for the FREEZING AC which was incredibly welcome due to the August heat.

Bed and pillows were surprisingly comfortable. So much so I actually looked up the mattress and pillows they use to see if I could get some for my own house.

I’ll definitely be back in December when I go for my follow up. Looking forward to the free breakfast and coffee again as well.

Neat, quite and nice staff

Super cute and clean! Affordable and great vibe. Fully staffed! People working on the windows, checking the pool, housekeeping and front desk all ket busy. All professional.

This is such a cute and fun motel! The vaule was amazing for such a great location The staff was absolutely fabulous! We had an issue with our car while we were there, we also had a concert to go to. They allowed us to leave our car there, and come back that night to jump start it. They were so kind an curteous. The cleanliness was top notch too! There was no noise beyond normal motel noise. If you are looking for a GREAT place to stay, with a great price, look no further, you found it!

This motel location is such perfect to anybody entitled to attend work in Marine Group Boat Works (which was my case) or some event in Gaylord Pacific Resort & Convention Center. They offer bicycles services for free which is great, trails in the area are great to ride them. Staff is really really nice, specially Esme, she did it great during my stay. Breakfast is ok for a couple of days but for long stays I'd prefer to check other options.
In general I'd go back to this place.

This is a great hotel. Friendly, clean, and is at a great price. The first night I had asked for a refrigerator. They didn't deliver it the first night as they promised, so they delivered it the next day and did not charge me for it for the time I stayed there. They had also stored my leftover food in their fridge, since I didn't have one when I came back that night. Very kind and considerate. They also sent me texts to ask if there was anything else they could do. They allowed me to check in earlier without charging me. They cleaned the hotel every day I stayed. The complimentary coffee and muffins were great. I stay here every Summer. I highly recommend The Rambler Hotel.

Nice music in the Pool side and the water Pool was template.

Fun hotel next to trolly stop; a bit of a walk for dining options but delivery was an option. Room was quiet although you do need to request one that doesn't face the interstate - you can hear road noise in those rooms.

service: every worker was kind, patient, and took such good care of us. even allowed us to stay in the same room with two reservations back to back with one being a king size and one being two queens.
amenities: i didn’t take advantage of all of them but they have a pool, free wifi, free parking, coffee, and i had a reservation with grab and go breakfast which was nice, free cruisers + more!! they got an arcade too very cute

Great Motel. Clean and easy will come back every time we visit Sam Diego. The room was clean and staff was nice. Cafe was good
