The firm bed.
Absolutely everything else was substandard. I have never haf a worse Wyndham experience.
No soap, no shampoo, microwave did not heat water to lukewarm. Carpet was dirty.
There's nothing I can recommend about staying here. The hallway was dirty and had a cigarette butt lying on the floor. The room was very worn. Only one nearly empty bottle of soap available to share between the sink and the shower. And, finally, the a/c was broken when we were there making for a very miserable night's sleep. At least the desk clerk didn't ask how our stay was when we checked out. I'm sure he didn't want to hear our answer.
the fridge was nice and new (some plastic still on the shelves), the beds were comfortable, the sitting chair was nice.
A room wasn't ready at check in. They were out of hand soap bars, the housekeeper found 1 for us. The rooms are getting pretty run down and needing a lot of work. The registration guy had made room key holders from copies and put them together. The breakfast area wasn't clean, garbage was full and leaking coffee from discarded cups onto the floor. The coffee pot (only 1 there) was covered with coffee drips and the coffee was luke warm. I looked the breakfast over and decided we would go elsewhere to eat.
Clean - staff obliging
1. Requested ground floor room (2 75+ seniors, plus 1 ambulatory, handicapped male plus 1 small, 15 lb dog). This was requested THE NIGHT BEFORE - “nothing available”…
2. NO ICE MACHINE - NO ICE AVAILABLE !!!!!
3. No milk available for morning cereal !! Breakfast was sketchy…Apple juice dispenser provided only water, etc.
Absolutely nothing
The A/C was out in the lobby, the place didn’t have an elevator, the room that we were given was dirty and had wet towels laying around the bed was not even changed
Comfortable bed
No milk at breakfast ran out before ours and told none till that afternoon
Nice staff
No coffee in room
Location was ok
Upstairs room and lift is currently out of order for renovations. We were in a ‘newly-renovated’ room. The aircon was loud to start with but around 2.30am it cranked up the noise massively and sounded like a building site. I switched it to off but after half an hour it was still running even in the off position. At 3am I unplugged it from the wall. Around the same time the fridge also started making a loud noise and also had to be unplugged from the wall. The curtains don’t physically close so we were left with a glaring Safeway sign beaming into the room all night. We had to leave early for a 10 hour drive to SLC on very little sleep. Also there’s no hairdryer and the paintwork on the new renovation was shocking. Appalling experience, do not stay here. Staff shrugged their shoulders when I said how bad it was.
Near the Missouri River
Not very welcoming. The lobby was stifling at breakfast…. No warm and friendly feelings from staff..
This has become my go-to hotel for my weekly stays in Pierre. The rooms are clean enough and comfortable, and there is at least one staff member I am always glad to see. Unfortunately, however, during my most recent stay, May 18-19, I forgot a black, leather skinny belt in one of the bureau drawers of the room I was checked into. By the time I realized I had forgotten my belt, it was gone, with at least two hotel employees, one of them apparently being the manager, informing me that housekeeping staff members always thoroughly check rooms for items left behind by guests but had not found my belt, alluding that the guest or guests who had stayed in the room after I checked out might have stolen my belt. But, if the hotel's claim that housekeeping employees consistently search rooms for items left behind by guests, then it would undeniably stand to reason that a housekeeping employee stole my belt. So, I will no longer be recommending this property to anyone. Leave nothing behind, especially anything of great value, when checking out of this hotel.
Our air conditioner was not working so they gave us a different room, which was a nice up grade.
The staff was very helpful.
Breakfast was not very good. Only one egg left early in the morning. Coffee was gone and never replaced.
Clean, quiet, comfortable. Professional, courteous staff
It was close to our event.
None at all.
Small area, but big enough to accomodate the people who were there when we were.
The rooms were nice and clean.
Front desk at check in was kinda rude and when checking out the girl was on cell phone and not very friendly. The breakfast was not the greatest.
