My rooms cleanliness sadly let my stay down bin unemptied in bedroom the bathroom towels not all clean and there was only 1half used toilet roll left for my stay so upsetting sadly
Excellent service from the staff. Nothing too much trouble. Highly recommended if you're flying out of East Midland Airport. Not necessarily a posh hotel but ideal for an overnight.
The room was good with really good air-conditioning and sound-proofing. The beds were comfortable. When the light over the toilet started to flicker we mentioned it to reception, and it was fixed while we were out. Tea, milk etc was replenished each day. We were racing at Donington and there was plenty of room to park the van and trailer, with the race car on, the night after the meeting. The staff were really helpful about parking and as there's cameras all round we were happy that the outfit would be safe overnight. As always at a Holiday Inn, the breakfast was very good.

It’s a little run down in places and breakfast is a bit basic.
The staff were great and the location is good.
The food was overpriced and dresdful
Staff were friendly and conscious of keeping things clean. To the point they were so keen to take away my plate/ cutlery/ mug when I was still eating! (Taken as a good thing). Had everything I needed in a hotel and the location was perfect as close to an event I was going to.

Hotel was remarkably quiet given that it is on the periphery of an airport
Paying for parking via a separate machine and then having to follow up via WhatsApp messaging etc to get a VAT Receipt which was a hassle.
The bar area is quite stark and the air conditioning was on full!
