Worth the stay.
Pros:

Nice staff. I like the fact that there was security on site. The room was clean and they offered free breakfast (even though we left before serving time)

Cons:

Th elevator was out of service. So we had to carry our luggage up the stairs. There was not linen in the closet for the pullout sofa. The tub was rusted and stuff was out dated

The entire hotel seems tired and in need of a Reno
Pros:

This place is in bad shape. It is need in better management and/or a renovation.

Our bathroom sink had no drain stopper so anything could fall right down the pipe. The tub hot/cold water indicator was backward, which took a few minutes to understand why the water was ice cold. The sofa bed is twin size…be warned. The shower leaked every time, so the bathroom baseboards were black and moldy with water damage. Elevator door doesn’t open unless you push the “open” button, which caused panic the first few times. The fitness center is tiny and not stocked with a sufficient supply of towels. The fridge in our room was full-size, but rusty and in need of replacement.

The staff is very friendly and kind; wonderful midwestern charm. They are the only “wow” about this hotel. Its location is very close to a Walmart.

The hotel is not indicative of the quality that Marriott usually puts forth.

Clean property, decent price, cozy vibes
Pros:

The rooms were clean. The lobby smelled like bleach which was a great sign. The rooms were neat & cozy. I loved the little kitchenette, made it feel more like home. It’s also located near a few stores to shop for essentials or just hang out at. I will definitely be back!

Great Staff & Clean
Pros:

The staff made all the difference. Lilly is a doll and very welcoming and sweet. So was Sandra and Rhonda (twins)...very nice ladies. We will likely be back.

Cons:

Not a big deal, but I did tell them the fitness center needed towels (for sweat) and sanitizer to clean machines. They were out. Glad you had a fitness center, because being a runner, there were no sidewalks in the area for me to run, so that would be the only reason I could not return, but again not a biggie.
The banana chips at breakfast were stale, and it was too crowded in the eating area but staff did what they could, and kept up as much as possible.

Hidden Gem!!!
Pros:

I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from this hotel since I wasn’t familiar with the brand or the location. From the moment I arrived, however, it was clear that this place is a hidden gem. The suites are very spacious, the customer service is extraordinary, and the complimentary breakfast is delicious. The hotel also offers safe, secure, free parking and is conveniently located just a 15-minute drive to downtown Detroit.

I was especially impressed by the impeccable service provided by Lillie and Lanesse. From check-in onward, they were warm, welcoming, professional, and genuinely eager to ensure I had a great stay. What stood out most was how consistently they treated every guest with the same level of care and attention. That kind of service is rare these days, and when you experience it, it’s truly refreshing.

I loved my stay at this hotel and will definitely be back.

They didn’t even let me see it i came from des moines -Iowa to check in at 3:30 and i had reservation online but the girl there she ask me to come at 8 in the morning like i should find another hotel at 3:30 in the when i pay for a room in your hotel was terrible and i will never book any reservation again with you !!
