Perfect location for our stay
Room was noisy facing main road, window didn’t close properly. Breakfast was a crapshoot every morning, something was always missing: milk, eggs, sausages, etc. Will not use again
Breakfast served typical items. Very attentive staff. Broke my phone charger and front desk associate lent me hers for a few hours. Very considerate.
The staff, the breakfast, the location
Needs a refresh - it’s a bit dated
Overall, this Marriott should be a nice place to stay. It's an old building with some hallway smells and a rickety elevator, but the staff were friendly and the rooms mostly updated (but showing wear). The location, though, makes it a 0 return for me. All night, groups of cars with engines louder than emergency vehicles raced through the streets and by the buildings. I could not sleep and that is the whole point of paying for a hotel. This was a sadly terrible experience.
It’s an old printing house that was converted into a hotel but smelled nice everywhere I went. The decors were from the Container Store. But there are signs that showed the age of the building from the small lobby to the baseboard. However, it has the facilities that a Marriott has, like the small store for quick meals, water, coffee at the lobby, and a small breakfast area. It doesn't have the contemporary feel like in the newer townplace suites in other cities.
The staff are very helpful and were very welcoming. There are a variety of decent restaurants nearby, but no shopping or convenient stores around for a bit more grocery shopping. I always love the fact that they have a real refrigerator and not a small one and a microwave to heat up my left over foods that I brought back from the conference, which was a 30-minute walk away. However, the neighborhood felt safe since their mostly residents walking their dogs at night and a lot of them work at the Denver Health building in front of the hotel and is actually across Denver Health’s guest parking lot. The vacant parking lots at night seemed to be worrisome. I would say take caution when walking at night.
When I arrived to the room on my night table it was covered w dead bugs. There was no one to help w my bags and I have arthritis so it was too hard to change. I took a picture and showed the receptionist. I was so tired I couldn’t handle talking to a manager, my hands really hurt. Workers ion the breakfast nook were exceptionally nice.
The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The room was clean and not outdated.
The kitchenette was outstanding. The room was great.
They "lost" my reservation twice AND charged me twice. So, that happened. Wish there was a hot tub.
The hotel was nice, room was great, and so was the free breakfast, which had scrambled eggs, sausage, ham, bagels, drinks, etc. Close to the train station, restaurants and bars.
The rooms were nice and pleasant! Great location.
The breakfast was sub marginal. The muffins were old and stale. The hot items were okay, but had no idea what the sausage muffin was, and it tasted bad. A good selection of yogurts and cereal. I liked the oatmeal selections and toppings. The bananas were getting old.
The refrigerator was a bit crap.
Had everything we needed for a stay. Cute kitchen, comfy bed.
Hard to find on the little spur street. Google map was no help.
Great location & friendly staff.
Housekeeping didn't come till the 3rd day and only because I asked. No pool.
Excellent
