Good location, quiet even though by a main road , large room, comfy beds, good bathroom, nice breakfast, nice chairs in room

Cons:

A £12 charge to park my car irked , it's £7 at premier inn next door but why do I have to pay at all in a hotel? Tasteless coffee in the breakfast room

A very refreshing experience that was a welcome escape from the stresses of daily life .
Pros:

The staff were very accommodating and thoughtful. ( one member of staff even knocked on the door with a really comfortable dog bed for our disabled dog to use and he has slept more there than where my fience lives)
I liked the fact there was good security so no one could get into the room when we were out .
There was a quick hassle free check in.
There was history of the area on the walls.
There was reasonably priced food even though we didn't have any on this occasion
