Pros:

Spa facilities
Room was big and comfy

Cons:

The cooked breakfast: didnt offer vegetarian sausages or meat alternatives.

Apart from that the breakfast was AMAZING!

Only 1 night gown available despite booking use of spa. Which was peaceful after the children session.

Great location and facilities
Pros:

Bought yoghurt muesli pot, great idea from The Black Sheep so I could eat when I got hungry

Cons:

First room I was given the sofa was dirt, tatty and I couldn’t sit on it. I requested a fresh room as I was staying 4 nights. 2nd room was much better

Wanted to stay longer! Great food, nice atmosphere and love spa facilities and pool.

Potential to be great but needs to get basics right first
Pros:

Friendly team, spa facilities, gym, fresh milk, filtered water & fridge in room. Room was huge. Dressing gown was super fluffy and cosy. Comfy bed, choice of pillows.

Cons:

Bathroom was not fit for purpose, shower constantly dripped, toilet flush was broken needs a complete replacement (room 145) no plugs near the bed, had to move the large desk to be able to use the plug behind that, the desk is too tall to use the plug without having to drag the desk out 🤦‍♀️

Towels smelt musty. Ground floor room was too close to the parked cars, I felt overlooked so closed the curtains but then it was too dark, not enough lighting. Room was dated. Stains on pillow cases, black mould in the bathroom.

Additional cost for the spa and parking.

No takeaway cups for coffee in the breakfast area.

We’ll be back.
Pros:

For us this is a great location: close to a main station and to a motorway. Very easy to meet people and to tag on some shopping before or after.
Spa treatments and staff are wonderful. Staff in the bar and main restaurant are so friendly. Excellent food.

Cons:

1. If you book via booking.com, spa access isn’t included. 2. The cost is pretty high even with a non-refundable booking. 3. A resident was loudly on a video call for an hour, ignoring polite requests to be quieter/not to video other guests, but staff refused requests for help. A devices policy is needed.

We have stayed at this hotel for 20 years but feel now that the personal touch with guests have been lost.
Pros:

The hotel and spa are both lovely

Cons:

We had issues with the hot water in one room and then the next room has a screaming baby so had to be moved again

Pros:

When booking online we was shown completely different rooms the rooms we was given was 2 double beds when we booked 2 single beds in each room

Also the rooms was dated and even had food on the walls girls hairs allover very very dirty rooms as I booked this for my work staff I tried calling the hotle 4 times and never got through once

The room was not sign posted clearly and the reception staff gave extremely loose details. A very expensive stay for two nights. We’ve staying in much nicer places for less. Wouldn’t stay again
