Lovely breakfast great choice.
It was cosy
Nothing
Got a junior suite room - v nice
A long way out of Bristol. Inflexible regarding removing breakfast charge. Spa facilities small, given number of hotel guests.
Breakfast was ok, dinner was even better
The set up and the staff was fantastic for families! Our children loved the little touches in the room for them, and even at breakfast the staff were so helpful with them - overhearing them saying what they would like and offering to pass them over, engaging with them and making them feel comfortable to ask for help etc etc. the children had a lovely time and as a consequence so did we.
The outdoor space needs a bit of tlc, we were allowed to sit outside in the sunshine but it wasn’t very well set up - we went out of a fire door which shut behind us, on such a nice day it could have been made a bit more deliberate as it has potential to be lovely
The room was nice, comfortable pillows and bed
The pool wasn't the cleanest and couldn't watch Netflix in fhe room as it wouldnt connect to the Internet.
The staff were so friendly, and the free room upgrade was a nice surprise. Plus, the food was exceptional; the breakfast was top-notch, especially the eggs Benedict was cooked perfect 👌
My daughter loved the swimming pool as it was safe and clean.
If Im going to be overly critical the one thing was that a wooden panel was loose on the wall in the room which isn't really a dislike its more of me being picky , we loved our stay and would go again
The food
Lack of customer service before arrival no response to email enquiries and voicemail and chat messages, also at the venue, attention to detail in the rooms things missing blocked and half full, and poor spa facilities low standards unclean!
Modern interior, great bar and restaurant, friendly staff
Nothing
Room was lovely and cozy
Well my partner come with me was i was working but the jacuzzi was not working which is the main thing we both liked so had to go out to another spa to relax after work and I messaged the hotel about this building works not long after I booked. I was told I wouldn't be near them but long behold you were woke up to baning from the ceiling were there was work going on so we left early to go to a different hotel
I loved the restaurant within the hotel, absolutely incredible food, and the wine bar was lovely also.
I didnt like the reception staff on arrival miserable unhelpful and not sure on what they were doing. I got to the hotel room where two of us were staying for my partners 40th to find one dressing gown only. We used the spa and we were not informed prior or 9n the day that there was work being completed 9n the jacuzzi so the spa was not relaxing at all due to drilling etc and not being a ble to use jacuzzi. I do think milke should be put in the rooms ready as it felt like we had to walk 5 miles to get some when out room was 154 it was a trek. Im gutted as these things spoilt our stay when it was a special occasion
It’s a very noisy hotel as in you can hear through walls massively. The hotel staff have always accommodated me to a “quiet room” where they can bug even then if someone in the room next door is even talking or the tv is on, you can hear from the room and corridor so not great for quiet night sleep
Room was great, though aircon not working. Bar staff very attentive and quick service. Breakfast excellent plus no queue.
Check in took time
Food was really tasty and lots on offer at breakfast and spa was relaxing and clean – although could have received more instructions/tour of the spa facilities and we were expecting robes and slippers.
I travelled with two friends and asked for a family room so we could all stay together, but was told a maximum of two adults per room, so had to pay for two rooms unnecessarily
