Staff were brilliant, disappointed with the room, particularly the bed

Staff were very helpful

Cons:

For a superior room, I was disappointed.
Bed was very uncomfortable - advertised as a king, it was 2 singles put together. The duvet did not fit the cover and kept coming out.

Good size room for 3 of us, perfect for whst we needed. Good breakfast

Cons:

We were told breakfast was until 10.30am but when we went down just after 10 we found it finished at 10am (but we were accomodated)

Cons:

Got a parking ticket for being in the best western carpark for 20 minutes, we moved the car to the ncp carpark which the woman at reception advised us to do.
The hotel was cold and the restaurant smelt of stinking drains,

Pros:

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were offered a free upgrade to a Superior Kingsize which came with a mini fridge and snacks. It was lovely and warm and comfortable.

Cons:

The restaurant area was stark and unappealing.

The breakfast was nice. The location is easy to find.

Cons:

No power outlets next to the bed. The room was uncomfortably warm. I opened the window, turned off the heater and put the fan closer to the bed but it still took most of the night to cool down the room. The water pressure in the shower was very weak. The tvs don't connect to hotel internet so, you need your own hotspot to access any streaming service. The king bed is actually two beds pushed together so sleeping in the middle is uncomfortable. Theres no hotel info pamphlet available in the room. There were snacks and non alcoholic drinks in the fridge but no price list provided which was confusing. Didnt know if id be charged or how much. I ordered food (chicken wings) from the restaurant but the entire experience was very awkward. Breakfast is only available until 9:30am which is a pretty early cut off time in my experience. Only one towel was provided in the room for 2 guests. It just seemed like basic standard hotel ammenities were lacking.
