Bed very comfortable, we didn’t have breakfast at hotel
Restaurant felt empty and cold, not much choice on menu, bar service not great, girl behind the bar seemed very stressed and there was only about 15 people in the whole restaurant, food very expensive for what you got. Rooms very basic, bed comfortable, people opening and closing doors at night and they where heavy doors so they used to slam if you didn’t close them softly yourself! This stay for us was a hospital appointment so I didn’t complain but if i was staying for a night/weekend away I would not recommend
Actually a good breakfast with the staff I had on Tuesday and Wednesday morning helpful and polite and attentive. A smile is perfectly received in the morning. Reception welcome was good and checked in quite simply within about 5 minutes. Real easy. Room was made nicely and all in order.
Bathroom looks a little tired with silicone starting to mould. The stairs don’t seem to be cleaned often - I saw the same sugar wrapper on the floor for 3 days until I picked it up. Makes me wonder whether the handrails are cleaned with all the hands touching them constantly hmmmm.
I tried dinner at the hotel for the first time and ordered pizza and it was just OK. Boring Red Leicester cheese and the chicken was strange bits with a breadcrumb on it. Just go out and get dinner elsewhere is what I will be doing all the time now.

Excellent beds. Imo pretty friendly service. Breakfast was pretty solid as well tbh. Very fresh pastry and well cooked hash browns among other things.
Dated. Noticed staining in ceiling areas in some places as well. I got assigned a room on level with the car park. Assigning a solo travelling woman to a room like that does not seem sensible. The area around the hotel is pretty unnerving in the late evening and I felt a little on edge walking round there to go and get something for dinner.
The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was comfortable.
Little details such as no cover on the back of the tv remote. No plug sockets next to the bed.
