Receptionist was very helpful when we asked to move rooms. There was a good selection of food at breakfast. Staff were all friendly.
Bathroom was generally clean, but the floor appeared to have old marks which are probably tricky to easily remove.

My work colleagues had a lovely stay here whilst working in the area for a few days. No complaints at all. And would highly recommend. Location perfect for their work purposes. Would highly recommend.
The room was very clean the bathroom shower was great could not fault the breakfast very good selection all fresh the bed was great we stayed in very hot conditions the room stayed cool and the supplied fan was a nice extra touch.
the only thing that was lacking and i am nit picking here was a toilet brush.

We stayed at this hotel whilst visiting Bury St Edmund’s. The hotel had very nice and tidy grounds, it was very nice inside, the receptionist was very friendly. Our room was nice, spacious and clean.
The hotel is only about a 10 minutes walk into the town, so very handy for visiting the town. We booked a table at the restaurant in the evening, we sat down, we waited so long for our first course that we left and I complained. The two young men who were serving were very helpful, they gave us some biscuits to take to our room as we were starving and had no where else to get a meal.
In the morning I told the receptionist what had happened and she told us that they had a temp in for a chef that night. That does not excuse the awful service.
They replied to me later in the week and said if I was in the area to come in and get a meal! I won’t be doing that, the offer of breakfast would have been better as we had gone to bed starving!!!
Location good. Room was clean and comfortable.
Check in time 4pm too late for my needs. I was told by staff that I could pay for an earlier check in at 3pm for £10.00. When I agreed to this at 3.10 pm I was told my room was not ready.As I was at a meeting at 4pm I had to prepare in my car and not access the room until 9.30pm on my return. Quality of Breakfast was poor. I have stayed at this location before on several occasions
Previously I have had no cause for complaint.
I find the room availability strange as the house keeping staff were preparing rooms in the corridor opposite my room as I checked out at 9.am.

The towel was on and it could not be turned off by the staff as the maintenance memories of sick and other women had it on as well in these hot days so it wasn’t very comfortable
