It was so easy to get to straight from the motorway, it was a beautiful hotel, very clean, the staff were all so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a beautiful spread. Abi the waiter was so helpful to us as we have disabled ones in our party, he was always offering to fetch things for us. There is also a beautiful fish tank in the shape of a triangle prism which lights up as you walk past. The hallways were very wide so plenty of room for people with wheelchairs or scooters and there is a swimming pool which is free to use during your stay.
There was nothing we didn’t like
I had a suite, but was cold and there is no ability to turn up the heating. for a suite, I would expect a mini bar.

The location is perfect, the facilities are perfect, the staff are friendly and helpful it was a lovely experience.
Great staff and very clean, tad expensive and not much for vegetarians in the breakfast lounge other than that class.
Lack of vegetarian options at breakfast
I stayed at the most luxurious room . The willow suite which is amazing . I was there for a comedy night and Adrian the beer Keller manager was brilliant so accommodating made the night for me and my friends .
I stayed at the most luxurious room the Willow Suite paid £294 . The bed linen was stained and the bed was not prepared to standard .Ordered room service the burger but came with no sauces or salt or pepper . Tried ordering room service at 1am a sandwich was told too busy and to order outside the hotel even though you can order between 10pm- midday . After challenge got the sandwiches . The kettle had water left in it . The wardrobe has a shelf so hanging trousers don’t hang fully had to leave the wardrobe open to stop them being creased . The fake display flowers were very dusty .
Rooms were nice, hotel bar was clean
The restaurant was slow, night one wrong orders for our evening meal and starters came out same time as the mains. In the morning at breakfast, we asked for tea and coffee, was given pots of both but had no cups to put them in. Asked again and was told they would be bought to the table which eventually they were. But we had finished the breakfast by then. Day 2, we ate in the bar, ordered selection of pizzas with sides, was asked if we would like any sauces. Asked for vinegar and mayo and never saw the person again. Breakfast on day 2 was better but when we asked for tea and coffee again we was told to grab our own drinks as they are busy and there was urns of tea and coffee on a table. Milk had run out and again for a table of 4 we only had 2 cups.
A great night's sleep. We loved breakfast too.
Swimming area needs a big update. And the food at night was bland.

Excellent facilities, a little old but well maintained hotel. Lobby area and restaurant area are pretty and comfortable. No issues with staff. Good pool and not bad gym for short stay.
Good choice of breakfast, gets busy at 8pm so I had food from 7 onwards and it was quiet enough.
We got free upgrade from double to executive room which was a surprise. Room was incredibly big and spacious with its own lounge, two TV's and Jacuzzi in the bath. Bath was refurbished and clean. Super hot water from the tap if using hot.
Good selection of complimentary teas and biscuits.
Filling station across the road to cover basic needs, like water, snacks etc.

We have been there a lot and like the hotel. It’s good as any in it’s price range if not better
We had to ask for a room change on our second night. Either the air con or water pipe work were making a terrible screeching noise making sleep impossible. We were moved without any issue and our second night was a sound nights sleep.
Hotel is clean comfortable and overall very nice for a 2 night stay
The pool and the saunas are a bit old and in need of a refresh but still perfectly usable
Food was expensive but that’s the same anywere now
