Great location with great staff. We used the spa every day and it was very restful. The chef is excellent and even made gluten-free scones for my cream tea which were fantastic.
Cotswolds House Hotel is a enchanting property with wonderful staff and service. I added on the afternoon hightea, spa services and dinner (that beef cheek was incredible) on a Friday evening service was excellent! Breakfast was included in my booking and everything tasted delicious!
My only complaint is that I had a bouquet of 24 yellow roses delivered to my room. It was disappointing that these were not there when I arrived. I had to ask the front desk staff 4 times where my flowers were. That was annoying and truly disappointing as I expected this to be in my room UPON ARRIVAL. Staff did not offer any discount or money off for their issue.
All of the other services were exceptional I just would not recommend ordering flower arrangements with the hotel.
Location was perfect, right in the town but it was quiet. Bed very comfy, food excellent. Staff fantastic.

Room decor a little tired, especially the bathroom. We have been staying here for many years but our latest room was really quite tired, especially considering it was sold as a “ superior” room

The decor was a little tired in places but this didn’t detract from the overall experience.

Inconvinient with bathtub in room. Would prefer a room with shower in separate bathroom.
Check in was easy. Parking was a bit awkward but directions were easy to understand. The room was nice and clean and quiet. The location of the hotel is really good. Chpping Campden is a hidden gem!
Spa is pretty small and clearly over booked. I wasn't able to use the pool as the hotel had booked a large group in who were using the whole pool and had even taken over both male and female changing rooms. The food served at the hotel was done by a team that technically knew their stuff and it was presented well, but it just lacked the extra wow factor in terms of flavour. Still very good though.
Brilliant location for start of walking Cotswold Way. Lovely breakfast too.
It was really hot in the room despite the radiators being off and the window open.

Awful walking through main bar area with our luggage to get to the suite .
No one explained how light switch’s worked !! How the fire worked in the suite!
Didn’t know whether it was safe to open sash windows !!
No availability in the spa not clear when making a booking !!!
