Exceptional breakfast and service
Bed comfortable, breakfast good. Location excellent, beautiful gardens.
Bathroom taps constantly leaking, toilet faulty. Room cold, 3 out of 4 radiators not working. No radio or smart tv, hence no music. Hot tub too hot, set at 40C, unable to change manually, so could not use. Reduction given after complaint.
To be fair, we changed our room on arrival from a junior suite to a hot tub suite, due to not being comfortable with 2 flights of steep stairs & no lift, so maybe they didn't have enough time to correct the above faults. Benefit of the doubt!

Sofa - really uncomfortable no cushions
Κλείσαμε τη σοφίτα- junior σουίτα και μας έβαλαν σε ένα άλλο-απλό δωμάτιο συγκριτικά με από αυτό που είδαμε στις φωτογραφίες όταν το κλείσαμε.
Τους ζητήσαμε αλλαγή αλλά εκείνοι μας ζήτησαν και έξτρα 60 λίρες για να το κάνουν.
Το πρωινό ήταν αρκετά κακό, το ψωμί καμμένο.
Ο cappuccino χρεώθηκε όταν εγκαταλείψαμε το ξενοδοχείο λέγοντας μας ότι ανήκει στα special coffees. Το προσωπικό αφιλόξενο, με αγένεια και με ειρωνία.

Cosy room with some views over the hills. Delicious breakfast. Easy to walk to cafes shops and restaurants.
Our spa booking didn't get processed and we were only allowed then to squeeze in for an hour. Since this was the only reason we'd booked this place it was then a stressful arrival. Though a time was offered next day it conflicted with breakfast.

Spa in need of a refurb
A lovely shabby and chic hotel in the Cotswolds, with lovely staff and lots of history. Dinner on the Friday night was lovely and it was a great location in the centre of Chipping Campden.
The room was so tiny - the smallest we have ever stayed in and the quality of the painting on the sash windows was probably done by the decorators 3 year old! My cocker spaniel would have made a better job!
