Τοποθεσία πολύ καλή
Magnifique établissement, chambres somptueuses et literie très confortable
Le seul bémol est la qualité du service et de la restauration. Petit déjeuner et dîner de qualité moyenne et service très lent et moyennement aimable
Good location in York. Comfortable bed, very good breakfast
Water for shower didn't stay consistently warm. No warm water in the bathtub at all, so what's the point? Walking to our room through the restaurant was odd.
5 min walk from all the action in York.
Nothing
Location was really good- 10 minute walk away from the hustle and bustle. Well decorated common areas.
Parking price should have been included or slightly cheaper as an additional charge.
Fantastic location, friendly helpful staff, great quirky hotel with special extras like 'the pantry'.
Noise from traffic in the room.
I had the full English breakfast & the two large sausages were particularly delicious! The two rashers of bacon were beautifully cooked and I also had two absolutely perfect poached eggs. My drink of choice was coffee and I enjoyed two cups. from the cafetière.
I requested some toast and was rather disappointed to find that I was charged extra for two slices of toast to accompany my cooked breakfast! However, it was beautifully cooked but perhaps it could be made a little more clear what is NOT included in the cooked breakfast for £20.
Spacious room and pantry for guests.
We had a lovely welcome from the person on reception who took us up to the room and explained where everything was. Our dog was made to feel very welcome with a bed, treats and water bowl. The room was a good temperature even on a hot day as the air conditioning worked well. The bed was very comfortable and we had a lovely big bathroom. You could hear the sound of the road outside faintly but we didn’t mind it and it’s to be expected when the hotel is on a main road. The location for walking into the centre of York was great.
The EV car chargers were not working.
Staff lovey , clean lovely bar area , rooms on the second floor and above are far better
The room was next to the lift on the ground floor, very noisy, the room was very cold and had to have the heating on. Stayed here 5/6 times before also has got very expensive for the weekend break cheaper to book a plane and go abroad unfortunately. Great location two minutes walk into the centre parking at the hotel is also very expensive. The car park is very small and if you have a nice big car You’ve got to be careful where you park it it is first come first serve we just managed to squeeze in and I mean squeezing.
