Pros:

The main room with bar is very lovely

Cons:

Need more help in the bar as drinks take a long time,
Also there was a lady pushing a catering trolley through whilst we were queuing up to check in , my dad had to quickly step back and let her through and stools on my mums toes and broke her big toenail nearly completely off as she had open toe shoes as she was dressed up ready for my daughters graduation , there was blood all over her foot , I don’t think the staff new what to do , I had to ask for a plaster and tissues etc and her shoes was all covered in blood , since this my mum had to go to the hospital yesterday to get this treated she now has to have it dressed everyday and not allowed to get it wet so a bit more help and a apology would have been nice

Pros:

Beautiful old building with lots of charm. Friendly staff and a really warm welcome at check in. Lovely food too! Location was a huge plus. Close to the city but also well placed to walk the Thames path

Cons:

The door chain was fiddly and I was locked in my room. The hotel admitted it was fiddly and sent a member of staff to help. But in the case of a fire or emergency this would be a problem and potential danger. The hotel chain should remedy this with clear instructions on the doors of rooms

Ottima soluzione per vedere Oxford soggiornando in un elegante maniero immerso nella campagna
Pros:

Bellissima struttura immersa nella campagna poco lontano dal centro. Bellissimo affaccio sul Tamigi fra cigni ed anatre selvatiche. Possibilità di raggiungere Oxford a piedi o in bicicletta tramite un sentiero che costeggia il fiume.
Colazione buona ed abbondante. Anche il ristorante è stato molto apprezzato sia per la cucina inglese che, a sorpresa, per la pizza. Ambienti confortevoli e la sala di ingresso, dove era possibile prendere un aperitivo ed anche mangiare, davvero molto bella e rilassante

Cons:

Mi aspettavo una camera più spaziosa. Forse riguardava la conformazione della nostra, la prima del corridoio, ma le dimensioni mi sono sembrate un po' ridotte. Anche il bagno era piuttosto piccolo benché fornito di tutto.
