Pros:

Breakfast was delicious. It was all quickly replenished when anything was running low. However there could be a bit more choice or different foods e.g. different cheeses yoghurts etc.
Staff are lovely and always helpful.
Beds are comfy, maybe a bit soft for my liking, but that's personal preference.
The hotel is cosy and has nice decor.
The pool is lovely and has two nice steam rooms
It would be good if there was a jacuzzi, but not the end of the world.

During our second night it was very windy outside, which caused the room to creek considerably in room 209 - which made it hard for me and my wife to sleep. It would be good if they could sort this out as this was rather annoying, but could have been to exceptionally strong winds that night.
Having to pay £10 a day for parking was a bit unnecessary, but hey ho.

Overall we had a lovely stay and was good value for money.

It is a good value of money for what we’ve got in the price.
Pros:

Comfortable, clean, great environment

1. It’s a shame not a hot tub or Jacuzzi in the spa area
2. Limited options on half board menu

Preis/Leistung stimmt nicht wirklich, was vielleicht an der Nähe zu Oxford liegt.
Pros:

Gebäudekomplex und Außenanlagen waren sehr schön.

Cons:

Zimmer blieben hinter dem äußeren Eindruck zurück. Pool durchschnittlich. Restaurant/Frühstücksraum lieblos. Wenn das Wetter ein Frühstück draußen möglich macht, ist das sicher sehr schön.

Birthday stay - amazing!
Pros:

Staff were excellent! Travelled for my birthday met with receptionists who were smiling and very friendly. Efficient and smooth check in. Got to the room and within minutes had a knock on the door with chocolates and 2 glasses of Prosecco alongside being informed I was entitled to a later check out of 12:30 instead of 11 as I became a member. Room was very clean, spacious and well equipped! Nice welcome notice for my birthday too. Small garden and patio made a big difference alongside a huge walk in shower for those like me with mobility issues. Couldn’t recommend this hotel more! We paid £5 tray fee for breakfast in bed and it was absolutely delicious! The bed was HUGE!

Cons:

My only criticism - pillows were far too soft for me. Took a while to get comfortable as you sink in and I didn’t find much support from them.

A very comfortable stay
Pros:

Attentive staff and a warm welcome on arrival.
Spacious room with very comfortable beds. Generous hospitality tray.
Ample parking in landscaped grounds and a stylishly refurbished old building.
Brilliant breakfast choices with both hot and cold dishes and a particularly impressive selection of fresh fruits.
