It’s pretty from the outside
It’s an odd refurb - it’s still really old in places. The gym is terrible. Really awful.
Everything about the stay was great the staff the property and facilities

We got married at the Oxford Voco Thames in April 2026, with unseasonably good sunny weather!
Shelley the wedding coordinator and Andy the toastmaster particularly were a credit to the hotel, everything ran smoothly and with good humour because of them both!
We had the absolute best time and it could not have gone better! We had so many comments from everyone how fantastic the food was as well, multiple people told me it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. We had some really quite awkward dietary requirements from our guests and they rose to the occasion magnificently.
The space is beautiful, the food was wonderful, and we felt very well looked after throughout. Would highly recommend.
Thank you team!

This hotel was quite the experience, the staff are absolutely incredible especially Mihai, he was so attentive and certainly knew his wines, extremely helpful and great friendly service, I would book again just to come back to see him!
The breakfast was the best I’ve had at any hotel, comfy bed with a lovely view of the river.
My only gripe was the £10.00 a night for parking, just put extra £10.00 on bill and say free parking.

Keira was amazing. Efficient, friendly and bubbly. Perfect service
Amazing Stay. What a warm welcome from all the staff. The hotel was sparkling clean and smelt so fresh. Room was spacious and clean, perfect for us as disabled guests. Shower was walking in with two attachments and strong water flow of warm water. Bed was king size and so comfortable - we slept like a dream. Countryside and Thames offered perfect views for breakfast. Dinner was just yummy. Nice choice of food for breakfast but for the full English we would have preferred it cooked fresh and brought to the table. But that said the quality and choice was great. Lots of fresh fruit, cheese , compote, cereals, pastries. The staff especially Maria on reception were just so professional and helpful. Full of smiles.
Excellent staff, spotlessly clean, very high standards,,
Nothing
Clearly a popular wedding venue, which is perfectly fine, though it can make breakfast feel a little hectic at times. There are several pleasant indoor and outdoor areas to sit and relax. The location is good, with the centre of Oxford around a 60–90 minute walk along the river. The hotel was clean, and the staff were friendly and pleasant throughout.
Nothing particularly it was a very reasonable hotel and I probably would stay there again.
Staff were excellent and spa facilities perfect for a nice treat for our short stay.
Friendly helpful staff in a nice setting
Liked everything
Really lovely food and waitress Keira was very attentive and kind, made sure we were comfortable
Clean, good facilities and very close to river Thames paths into Oxford.
Bed mattrass could have been firmer.
Wonderful welcome from Kenzie on the front desk. She was a great asset to the hotel and made us feel welcome. Dinner was great with some great service from Keira on Friday night. Pool was fine. Room very clean so all in all a nice hotel and a 20 minute bus ride into the city!
Smart, warm and good dinner
Cooked breakfast was cold
