Nice Location
Parking- why do you have to pay to park?
Gym - was dirty as were the changing rooms
Breakfast was poor - food was cold, coffee undrinkable
My daughter and I stayed at the hotel for her birthday. They welcomed us to the room with a special message and a small box of chocolates which added a special touch. Clean. Comfortable beds. Lovely staff. Food in the restaurant was good. Good hot stone massage.
The spa/leasure facilities were a bit dissappointing. Good size pool, but the steam room and sauna is quite small. The sauna was occupied each time we wanted to go with no room for the 2 of us. We only got to use the steam room. Only one private changing room causing some waiting times. They stated on their site that towels, bath robes and slippers are provided, however we only received a towel for the day.
Restaurant food was very good
Staff all very pleasant professional
Spa facilities could have more to offer felt very small sauna and steam could only accommodate a few people also the changing room was very small
Room not cleaned until late each afternoon just when we were returning furnaces after having busy days : they parked the cleaning trolley right outside our room every day making entry not private , and noisy in corridor at our door when we had returned for a rest
The room was spotless with a great layout. Generous space, comfortable seating area and a calming, neutral design. The bathroom was equally clean and well presented, everything felt fresh throughout.
At Check-in the hotel staff were warm and welcoming, with a lovely chocolate treat for members, a really nice touch!
The setting of the hotel is really peaceful, with beautiful surroundings and even the hotel’s own honey bees producing on site honeycomb, which tasted really lovely!
A relaxed atmosphere throughout, a hotel I would absolutely return to.
Just came with friends for food and wine. Excellent service, laid back atmosphere and amazing food
Absolutely lovely experience having dinner, my chicken was delicious and the service was fantastic. Thank you to Harsh and the team
We had a great stay for two nights, including breakfast and dinner. The food was amazing, and we had extremely good service on all occasions, particularly from Alfred. Would definitely recommend!
Excellent service on both evenings.
Rihanna was charming.
Having booked via the Secret Escapes deal we expected our two night visit to be good. However, the whole experience was exceptionally better than we expected.
The hotel is very well maintained and has a decent range of activities to enjoy.
The meals - A 3 course dinner and breakfast were included in the overall deal but they were so much better than the traditional fare. The evening meal was served in the mezzanine restaurant over the bar, which is a nice change from the norm. The food was exceptional and such good quality.
The best part of our stay was the experience we had with a number of staff. Mackenzie on reception, Rihanna in the restaurant and Henry in the bar were all so genuinely interested in helping us to enjoy our time with them. Without doubt, we will be visiting this hotel again and look forward to seeing these amazing people again, whilst sampling some more excellent food. Thank you for making our short stay so special.
Beautiful property very clean and staff helpful.
Price for drinks a little on the expensive side.
Staff were really good, place was clean and tidy 😊
Was lovely
