A few staff were short with us
En general, me sentí muy cómoda en el hotel. La habitación estaba muy bien, era cómoda y contaba con todo lo necesario. La atención tanto del personal de recepción como del restaurante fue excelente. Además, la ubicación es inmejorable: está muy cerca de la Diagonal, la Rambla de Catalunya, el Paseo de Gracia y de muchas de las principales atracciones de esa zona de Barcelona.
Como única observación, en el pasillo de la planta donde estaba mi habitación había un olor muy desagradable, similar al de aguas residuales. Supongo que

Nice terrace and small swimming pool at the rooftop. Very friendly service.
The bedroom was very small and there was basically no view.
The Astoria is in a fabulous location, easy walking distance to all the center shopping and great restaurants. Also near the Diagonal Metro. The building is beautifully kept and decorated with taste. The small plunge pool and roof terrace are an added bonus, but if you want a lounger you have to get there early there are only a handful.
The rooms are clean and functional but a little small especially if you are there for more than 2-3 days and you are there are two of you in the room. You have to take turns in the bathroom.

Hotel clásico y confortable.
I love this hotel. Great location in a "quieter" part of Barcelona. Close to restaurants, bars, shopping. Super helpful staff. Very traditional, but comfortable and well run. Breakfast and lunch very reasonably priced and good quality.

Hotel Astoria is well located near transportation (subways), cafes, restaurants, and coffee shops.
The pool was a bit small, but this wasn't a major issue.
