Front Desk Manager created an excellent customer experience
Pros:

My 85-year-old mother stayed at Novotel Toronto North York from November 29, 2025 to February 1, 2026 while waiting for repairs to be completed in her condominium. What could have been a very stressful two months was made significantly easier because of the exceptional care provided by the hotel — especially the manager, Eric.
There was some confusion and lack of attentiveness at check-in, which was disappointing given my mother’s age and accessibility needs. However, after speaking with Eric, he addressed the matter immediately and truly turned our experience around.
From that point forward, he went above and beyond. He ensured my mother had an accessible room, arranged additional comforts such as a heater and an extra mini fridge, and regularly checked in to make sure she was safe and comfortable. His professionalism, empathy, and accountability made all the difference.
The housekeeping team maintained excellent standards throughout her stay, and the restaurant staff were warm, patient, and consistently kind to her.
We are incredibly grateful for the compassion shown during what was a difficult time for our family. I would confidently recommend Novotel North York and sincerely thank Eric and his team for their outstanding care.

Prima hotel, alles naar tevredenheid. Ik was daar voor familie omstandigheden dus niet echt met vakantie. Was vooral om praktische redenen. Maar het verblijf was zeker goed.

Nous avons passés un très bon séjour.
Pros:

Le personnel a été très attentionné à ma demande d'anniversaire pour notre fils.
L'accueil et le service du petit-déjeuner étaient parfaits. Merci à Adam pour sa disponibilité.
Les mets étaient copieux.

La baignoire était cassée et un peu vétuste.

Good apart from the lift issue and the bathroom could have done with some repairs.

Cons:

Elevator from car park was out of order as was the escalator. This was a major inconvenience and not at all safe. We had to lift heavy suitcases ourselves and the children were not able to carry their luggage so I had to do multiple trips up and down several flights of stairs. At check in were were told that it was being worked on and would be fixed which it wasn’t. Disappointing.

Decent accommodation with a few strange quirks
Pros:

The rooms were clean and nice for a short stay.

Cons:

There's almost no sound insulation between rooms, so I could hear almost everything going on in the hallway and in my neighbour's room. The bathroom mirror was placed bizarrely high above the sink.

Pros:

it had a parking garage that was reasonable price

Cons:

bed was sooo uncomfortable, small, had to use paper cups for drinks…. with a restaurant downstairs, why not wash glass. No room service . Had to go downstairs for our meals… i paid $300us… expected more that Super 8 lodgings.
