I unfortunately not sure if I’d go back being so uncomfortable

I am writing to share my experience during my recent stay, as I was quite disappointed with several aspects of the service and accommodations.

Firstly, the temperature in the hotel was extremely uncomfortable. The room was excessively hot, making it very difficult to rest. Unfortunately, this issue was not addressed in a timely manner, and it was only on the second night—just before my departure—that a fan was finally offered. By then, the discomfort had already significantly affected my stay.

There was also an issue with being double charged for the deposit. Although this was eventually refunded, it did cause unnecessary concern and inconvenience during my stay.

While I appreciate that breakfast and parking were offered as compensation, I did not make use of the breakfast, as I had already mentioned that I would not be having it. As such, this did not meaningfully resolve the situation.

Overall, the combination of the room conditions and the inconvenience experienced did not meet expectations. I would appreciate it if you could consider providing an appropriate gesture of goodwill or partial compensation.

Location is close to airport. Pool area is nice! Airport shuttle worked well!

Cons:

The hotel suffered a power outage when we arrived, so nothing worked. Had to climb up 3 storeys in a completely dark parkade because elevators were not working. Without the cell phone torch we would not have made it … A few signs where to go or flashlights would have been nice. There was no food as the restaurabt was closed because of the power outage. Once the power was restored things improved dramatically - the restaurant opened (food was decent) and we could use the pool!

Good rates. Clean, quiet, comfortable beds.
Pros:

Easy uber from the airport. A comfortable bed a great pillows was very welcomed after an overseas trip. Room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Room was wonderfully cool! Hot breakfast from the restaurant is a bonus. There is a self serve laundry, but I was only there for one night so I didn’t use it.

Pros:

Staff was friendly, room was clean.

Cons:

The parking was horrible, it was an up charge. There was no room to park at the lobby to check in, the elevators didn't work and the only stairs were in the parkade. Even the coffee in the lobby had a charge.

Pros:

We had expected there may have been a bit of a breakfast included but we didn’t take the extra time to go to the restaurant.
The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom toiletries were appreciated.

My husband got kind of disoriented from the parking to get back to the entrance.
