It’s such an elegant and beautiful hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay. The hotel was clean, and the staff were professional. And the breakfast was excellent. I love their tofu. Yum.

Simple the best hotel in the world! The hot springs are a spiritual experience and the reason I will always revisit this place for the rest of my life. Great location right if the subway and only a 30 minute walk from Kyoto station and downtown Kyoto. For families, this hotel cannot be beat and everyone in my party loved it there. The place was fully booked, but you won’t even notice because the property is so evenly spaced out. The beds were amazing and the bathrooms were simply the best bathrooms I ever seen in a hotel or home. I plan on remodeling my home soon and will draw inspiration from this hotel’s layout. In the morning I loved to stroll through the garden and wait till my family woke up. The only thing that needs improvement is the gym, which I would rate an 8 out of 10. We took day trips to see the monkey kingdom and deer at Nara, both unforgettable experiences!! I want to write an entire essay on why this hotel is the best in the world but I’ll leave it up for you to decide. Best decision I ever made!!

Memorable Stay at a Luxurious Hotel

Our trip to Kyoto was all the more memorable because of our luxurious stay at the Westin. The hotel was spotless, the staff were friendly, the spa was relaxing, the meals were delicious, and the room was very comfortable with all the modern amenities we could want.

This is my fifth time staying at the Westin Miyako. The location is superb for seeing temples on the west side of Kyoto, and it’s always easy to get around, either via their free shuttle bus to Kyoto Station, or by nearby public transit with a few blocks’ walk. The staff offers world class hospitality. I could not have asked for a better stay.

Beautiful hotel with a lovely Onsen. Beautiful, spacious, well-appointed room. Great location. It was my wife’s birthday and at the end of an excellent teppanyaki dinner the chef sent out a gorgeous dessert plate.

Amazing hotel. Extremely caring and friendly staff. Luxurious rooms and tremendous amenities - loved the onsen and spa. Only downside was a lack of less expensive options for casual dining or breakfast cafe if you preferred not to use buffet.
