Location is perfect with easy walk to many shops, restaurants, Rosario square and the river. Next to train station and metro. This was my second stay here and I recommend it to all my friends traveling to Lisbon.

Cannot recommend this hotel enough. My husband and I stayed here for three nights on our recent trip to Lisbon. The staff was wonderful, the hotel is incredibly beautiful and the service divine. As we booked directly with the hotel our breakfast was included and our room was upgraded upon arrival. There really wasn't anything more we could have asked for. The room was spacious and extremely well appointed. Each afternoon when we returned from our day out and about in Lisbon we were treated with a little something in the room. One day it was Easter candies, another was pastries.

The breakfast in the morning is not to be missed. Everything was delicious and so very well presented. We also very much enjoyed the nightly live music in the salon next to the bar. Was such a lovely touch.

Could not have asked for more.

Great hotel! The location is central - easy to get to lots of destinations. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Loved the slippers and bathrobes they provided! The breakfast is amazing and a shout out to Tiago the bartender - he made us great cocktails! All the staff were super helpful and kind.

Hotel Avenida Palace is a very special hotel. The service is impeccable and everyone was so accommodating. The rooms are extremely comfortable with fine quality linens and a great bed. We loved the location. It is close to many good restaurants and shops. The best place to stay when in Lisbon!

The Hotel Avenida Palace fell short in many areas. The good news is the building is beautiful and kept clean. The front desk staff, doorman, bell staff, and concierge however were with a few exceptions quite rude. The doorman was never at the door and I always had to open the door myself with luggage in tow. The bell staff spent a lot of time talking with each other and avoiding work. The front desk clerks upon check in and check out were unfriendly.
My room faced the alley to the Main Street and there was loud traffic noise all night. The shower drain was plugged and flooded the tub. The room was pretty but space was tight even for one person. The breakfast was good and the breakfast staff were kind and helpful. It is a pity the front staff is so rude - it sets a poor tone for visitors.

For: location, breakfast , public rooms, bar with music every early evening, friendly efficient reservation staff pre arrival and throughout stay; outstanding Concierge staff for transport, restaurants and cultural experiences.
Against: nothing but our bathroom had screened showe over bath which leaked a little but otherwise room facilities excellent

Fantastic location ,easy walk to many restaurants .longer walk to Tagus .Our broom is quiet comfortable with a nice view and a king sized bed.Slightly old fashioned but nice to experience compared to a generic chain hotel .Staff great ,breakfast in a grand room fantastic.

What a fantastic stay at Hotel Avenida Palace. I thought I had missed out on fresh pastéis de nata since bakeries close around 8pm—but to my surprise, they appeared in my room as a turndown treat. Such a thoughtful and very Portuguese touch.
The included breakfast was outstanding—easily one of the best I’ve experienced anywhere, and I’ve traveled extensively. High quality, beautifully presented, and a great way to start the day.
In the evening, the live piano music in the bar created a relaxed, elegant atmosphere that made it hard to leave the hotel.
The location is perfect for walking to Lisbon’s main sights, and booking online even came with a nice discount.
What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is the staff—genuinely warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout the stay.
I can’t wait to return.

Fantastic hotel with fabulous decor both in reception areas and the rooms. We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and the hotel went out of their way to make it very special for us. The breakfast was excellent with a large choice of quality food. The hotel is close to shopping and eating places and will use again if we are in Lisbon.
Only one slight negative, the desk receptionists were not that interested in customer service unlike the porters and concierge who were friendly and helpful.

The Hotel Avenida Palace is an exceptional experience for a traveler to Lisbon.
The location is in the heart of the city with easy access to shopping, dining, a train station.
The hotel provides friendly professional service, parking on the premises, well appointed rooms and superb food.
The rooms are quiet. The linens and decor lovely.
We were sad to leave such an elegant hotel.
It was great to be pampered, if only for a few days.
We hope to return!

We loved our stay at this hotel. From the moment we stepped foot on the property, the customer service was top notch! The hotel is regal and in a great location. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Our stay at Hotel Avenida Palace was a very special experience. Location was excellent, near transport - i.e. Rossio train station, Metro, trams all within minutes. Wonderful lounge and exceptional service. Have to mention Paulo the concierge who is very knowledgeable and helpful, Daniela in the restaurant but all the staff were helpful, friendly and took pride in their work.
