Cheap and comfortable.
Pros:

Located in a central location 5 minutes walk from the main high street, the hotel was modern and very clean, with very friendly staff. 24 hour parking is available subject to space, and train parking is near as an alternative. Decent breakfast available onsite.

Cons:

Carpet was a little tired due to wear and tear.

Graduation Visit September 2026
Pros:

Staff kindly allowed us to park our car for 24 hours so we were able to attend our son's graduation at the nearby theatre without moving the car.
Rooms have everything you need.
The location is excellent for train and city
Excellent Blackout curtains
Breakfast is great

Cons:

We got there early on arrival to make sure we got a parking space. I know they are limited so maybe that could be an improvement?
But not the criticism on anybody

Overall a good, quiet night in good, comfortable beds and white, soft beddings
Pros:

Comfy beds and white, soft beddings and towels. The way the manager welcomed us in the morning for the breakfast. Continental breakfast exceeded the expectations. Having a (communal) room to iron cloths was a bonus.

Cons:

We had two rooms, one was impeccable, one had a strong outdoor.

Good value budget hotel.
Pros:

A good location for us, close to where we were attending a wedding. Close to some nice bars and restaurants. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Comfortable bed.

Cons:

More car parking would be useful but no scope for it

Some staff very helpful, others not so
Pros:

Functional. Good location

Cons:

Car parking. This was advertised but only after I had paid my non refundable booking was I told that there was little parking. It would cost £7 per day and if full I would have to go and park by the railway station. I think that this be clearer. Ran out of saving on blank wine

Pros:

Staff were attentive and very helpful.

Cons:

We should be able to get in touch with each individual ibis, not just a main switchboard. This happens sometimes. Its not very helpful when it happens
