- Please check for road closures during winter months. Highway 120 (Tioga Pass) closes from late October until late May and is subject to change based on weather. When the Tioga Pass Road is closed, it is not possible to access Highway 395 near Mammoth Lakes and Lee Vining. All other park entrances, including those along Highway 120 from the west, Hetch Hetchy, Highway 140, and Highway 41, remain open all year.

Just old and needs a major update for the amount of money hey charge.

Mariposa is a charming township, well-placed for visiting Yosemite NP. The drive from Mariposa to the Park entrances is pleasant and on very good roads.
The usual hotel/motel breakfast but I appreciated the use of real crockery and cutlery instead of the ubiquitous, wasteful, single-use disposable plates and plastic cutlery, all of which goes to landfill. The breakfast room was clean, spacious and well-lit.
On-site parking could be much better managed instead of allowing selfish, entitled guests to park massive 4-door trucks (Silverados and the like) taking up the closer, convenient, but smaller parking bays and making it difficult for other guests to negotiate car parking. Most drivers did the right thing but as always, a few selfish twats make it difficult for everyone.

Leuk dorpje met genoeg te doen! Goede restaurants en qua prijs betaalbaar.
Afstand naar Yosemite Vallet is wel stukje rijden. Wisten we vooraf maar toch. Andere kant is dit enige wat betaalbaar was.
