Great location and comfortable
Pros:

Great location, right across from the train station but still walkable to all the sites. The room was small but comfortable and had all the amenities I needed. The breakfast was great, and I appreciated that the room for storing baggage after checkout felt secure.

Cons:

I couldn't keep the window open at night because my room faced the train station, and I could hear the platform announcements.

Die Lage, das Frühstück, die Tiefgarage sowie das freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal

Cons:

Die Zimmer des Hotels verfügen leider über keine Klimaanlage. In den Tagen unseres Aufenthaltes war es extrem warm.
Die Einrichtung der Zimmer inkl. Bad ist zwar funktional in Ordnung aber schon in die Jahre gekommen.
Ehrlich gesagt, wir hatten etwas mehr Luxus erwartet.

Das Hotel liegt günstig gegenüber dem Bahnhof. Netter Frühstücksraum im historischen Wintergarten. Schöner Blick auf die Karl-August-Allee

Cons:

Das Haus ist augenscheinlich grossteilig seit Jahrzehnten nicht grundsätzlich renoviert worden und hat KEINE Lüftung/Klimatisierung bzw. die Technik funktioniert nicht mehr. Liest man ältere Bewertungen, wird deutlich, dass sie schon seit Monaten außer Betrieb ist. Das darauf angesprochene Personal konnte auch kein Datum nennen, seit wann sie aus ist. Die darauf nicht ausgelegten kleinen Zimmer/ das Bad sind im Sommer deshalb extrem warm und können nur ineffizient über das geöffnete Fenster belüftet/entfeuchtet werden. Dadurch Nachts sehr laut , weil H. an lebendiger Hauptstrasse gelegen ist.
Im Bad roch es zudem stark und unangenehm aus den Abflüssen. Das ist bei einer ziemlich hohen Rate für Weimar extrem ärgerlich. Mein Eindruck auch sonst: Das Hotel wird auf Verschleiß gefahren weil ggf. Renovierungen/Investitionen gescheut werden.

Das Frühstück ist meines Erachtens überteuert. Für Leute, die sich eigentlich mit einem Kaffee und einem Brötchen zufrieden geben würden, bietet sich keine finanzielle Alternative zum Büffet.
