Delta Hotels by Marriott Burnaby Conference Centre

We didn’t have breakfast

We were so happy to find the Delta Burnaby after our flight home was unexpectedly cancelled and our travel plans completely fell apart. We had been struggling to find a hotel because so many properties in the Vancouver area required a minimum stay of more than one night. We only needed somewhere to stay while we figured out how to get home, and finding the Delta Burnaby was a huge relief. Honestly, they saved us from being unhoused that night!

Our rooms were clean and comfortable, and we were especially happy to find mattress protectors on the beds. We are the kind of people who strip the bedding down to the bare mattress whenever we stay at a hotel and inspect everything before settling in. Both of our rooms passed our inspection with flying colours!

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was excellent. We were approximately 30 minutes from both the airport and downtown Vancouver, which made it a very convenient location for us.

The hotel is also connected to a casino, so it was quite busy, but we actually really enjoyed having everything right there. The casino is large and spans two floors, with slot machines, table games, and a noodle restaurant. We had dinner at Atlas Steak and Fish on the second floor, and the food was excellent. To make the evening even better, there was a piano player who was absolutely fantastic. The live music made our dinner feel surprisingly fancy after the chaos of the day!

Parking was available in the garage underneath the hotel, which was another convenience.

After a very stressful day of cancelled flights and trying to figure out how we were going to get home, the Delta Burnaby gave us exactly what we needed—a clean, comfortable room, friendly staff, great food, and a place to finally breathe.

Thank you, Delta Burnaby, for being there when we needed you. You quite literally saved the day!

I’m a long time Marriott Bonvoy member and although I don’t do this as often as I should, want to give a shout out to a couple of people at the Delta Burnaby location. I had a very complex reservation for 6 individuals where I needed several things adjusted including combining some rooms, dates adjusted, etc. and I was helped out by Crystal at the front desk. She was exceptional. Fast, efficient, professional and really grasped my requests, which weren’t “normal” items. She was fantastic.

In addition to that, and knowing that my reservation structure was complicated, I called the hotel and spoke to Sierra at the front desk, who was also very helpful.

All around, very impressed. Thank you!

Praneel was so helpful with an issue we had with our luggage. Very grateful for his support. Everyone is very friendly. Location is good and close to a bus station.

I really enjoyed my one-night stay at the Delta Hotels Burnaby Conference Centre! The room was HUGE, and the bed was very comfortable. I like that the toiletries were not single-serve.

This is the kind of hotel you can easily stay at for many days. There's lots of room to spread out, a nice desk to work at, and a very quiet environment. The dining options are also fantastic. I had dinner at the Atlas Steak and Fish (they are very accommodating to dietary restrictions) and breakfast at the Villa Bistro (the avocado toast is exceptional!)

I would recommend this hotel for adults staying here for a conference, business purposes, or as a base to travel within Burnaby and the Lower Mainland.

The technician who helped us in our room was very attentive and friendly—his name is Praneel. We called the front desk because the room was getting really hot, and he came right away to assist us.
