Absolutely 1st Class Stay
Pros:

I would regard this as a budget hotel. It’s why I booked it, but…….the hotel & staff far exceeded my expectations.
Onsite secure parking

Lady at check in was friendly, efficient, professional & engaging, what a great start.
Rooms are more than adequate, comfortable bed, room was cleaned to a good standard.
Soap products in bathroom were good quality.
Restaurant staff were efficient & friendly, food was sensational, so delicious, we had 2 beef dishes & a shrimp broth, absolutely scrumptious.
Goats cheese samosas were really good.
Location of hotel is decent.
I really love this hotel, can’t believe any negative reviews.
Great job everyone, see you in about 3 weeks.

La climatisation se transforme en douche tropicale à 03h du matin
Cons:

Lors de la remise des clés rien n'est précisé, alors même que la réception est informée que la climatisation était tombée en panne la veille. En fin de journée, il est constaté que la moquette est mouillée par endroit. Cela est signalé à la réception qui propose des chaussons pour ne pas marcher dans la moquette mouillée se souvenant alors que la veille la climatisation avait largement fuit.
Aucune proposition n'est faite pour changer de chambre.
De retour de réunion, retour à la chambre vers 23h00 où la situation est identique. A 3h du matin, réveil brutal, la climatisation transforme la chambre et ses murs en douche tropicale.
Le gardien est appelé, il tente d'intervenir en démontant le plafond pour constater que le bac récupérant les condensats de climatisation ne s'évacue pas, que la panne, déjà survenue la veille n'est pas résolue. Il est 4h00 du matin, une autre chambre est proposée...c'est évidemment trop tard pour déménager avec la fatigue et l'obligation d'avoir à être prêt pour 07h00 du matin.
La difficulté est rappelée à la réception dès le matin qui s'était engagée à revenir vers nous. Il n'en n'est rien à ce jour.

Pros:

The staff were helpful and attentive and genuinely lovely people. The rooms were basic but had a few issues. The hotel itself had great facilities and the bar and breakfast were lovely places to spend time.

Cons:

Our air conditioning was ineffective and the room stayed fully warm and there was a smell emanating from it that wasn't great. To be fair, there was a heatwave so maybe that impact the system and it was the week after Le Mans. The restaurant closed on Sunday but that is common in France.

A good place for a stop over
Pros:

Staff were wonderful. Helpful and smiling. The room was lovely. Just what we needed for one night. Bed comfy. The food was excellent and so was the breakfast.
