Convenient location but aa bit noisy.
Pros:

Good location and clean.

Cons:

Rather loud humming noise adjacent to our room and quite s lot of corridor traffic and noise until the early hours, so not a great nights sleep!

Very convenient comfortable stay.

Nice clean room.
Good breakfast.
Great location.
Friendly helpful staff.

Cons:

Only one chair in the room. Shower needs instructions as it takes time to work out how it works. On each side of the bed there are what looks like reading lights, but no information about how to make them work.

Great location when breaking up the journey
Pros:

Close to Loch Strathclyde which makes dog walking super easy.
Next to Toby Carvery for a filling and good for value meal.
The kingsize room beds are truly giant and amazing.
Hot shower and clean bathroom.
Friendly staff.
Conveniently close to Motorway for onward travel.
Blackout curtains.

Cons:

The breakfast at this particular HolidayInn didn't have a good fruit selection.
Parents who cannot manage their kids at the breakfast table (obviously not the hotel's fault).
Not sure what the useful life of the building is but eventually they will need to install air conditioning given how hot the summers will be.
