The balcony with the lake view
Somebody in the room above was pacing all night long and the old wood that the hotel is made of was cracking so loudly that I couldn’t sleep. Also, there were a lot of dogs at the hotel, including at the adjacent room, and when I went out to the balcony the owners with 2 dogs were sitting on their balcony, which was separated from mine just by a wooden bar, and the dogs were barking at me. No privacy at those balconies at all. The breakfast was bare minimum.

The woman who worked at the front desk was so friendly.
The property looked a little outdated on the outside but we were pleasantly surprised that the room interior looked newer/recently renovated. The room size is decent with lots of counter space. Shower had great hot water and pressure. The lake view was nice even though it's still a little frozen in March.
Breakfast was self-serve but the selections are good - toasts, pastries, yogurt, cereal, premade breakfast sandwiches. The pancake machine is awesome. We also really enjoyed the automated coffee machine that makes latte/cappuccino/hot chocolate. This is available 24/7 not just during breakfast.
I also appreciate the text check-in during my stay.

Room was immaculate, staff friendly, breakfast was very organized and clean with a good assortment of breakfast food.

I loved the staff they were very helpful. The location it wasn't very far from restaurants, supermarkets and friends that lived near by. It was below zero the weekend I went but still quite beautiful. I cannot wait to return in the summer.

There was alot of snow and they plowed blocking me in. I had to shovel myself out. The snow was very heavy and difficult for me to do. They didn’t offer any assistance.
