Talk about bang for your buck! This place is stunning and the balcony upgrade was entirely worthwhile. Quiet, peaceful, and welcoming—you cannot go wrong at the Black Swan. We love when the sink is outside bathroom, and we super-appreciate the screen for fresh air from the balcony. Special thanks to Thilanka for the extra-hospitable check in, and Michelle who gave us late check out without hesitation!
We were exhausted and kind of gross from a day on the road, so coming through the teeny lobby with all of our bags and coolers felt tough given the gorgeous restaurant and guests sharing the same space. Parking by that door was also at a premium. It’s great to have another entrance available further down, but it would be even better if there was roomier lobby situation.
Location on the lake is pleasant, though a significant number of rooms have only a parking lot view
Significantly overpriced for the experience
Lack of transparency regarding policies, restrictions, fees. Anything you may have to sign at the hotel regarding policies or additional fees should be posted on the third party booking sites most travelers use
Thin walls, stiff pillows, room not cleaned well beforehand (wrapper and old book found), very small bathroom. Lack of hot breakfast options.

Breakfast had a small but good selection of items. The room was comfortable and the area they are in is very quiet. The location is extremely convenient to many local restaurants and locally owned businesses as well. Their location on the lake is a great selling point as it's right by the water and you can rent kayaks!
The facilities were all kept in good condition, but a little dated and could benefit from some modernization.
Lakeview lobby for breakfast, and enjoying coffee outside with a view. And dinner next door at Mint is always a treat.
Bedside charging pod turned out to be an alarm clock that lurched us awake at 6 am and again at 6:05 am. Not cool.

Nothing really
The location was good (pretty lake, right on the highway, close to Lenox and Lee). The Indian restaurant in the hotel was amazing. The staff were all very nice. The free coffee machine and large tea selection were a nice touch!
The bed and pillows were both much more comfortable than the typical hotel.
I liked the place, so these are kind of knit picks:
The breakfast was basic (hard boiled eggs, microwave sandwiches, pancakes from a machine, etc). Would be nice to have a nutritious option other than hard boiled eggs.
The fitness center was very minimal (no cable machine, no dumbbells between 25 and 50 lb, no barbell or squat rack).
Both were fine for the price though :)

Great hotel for passing thru the area. I sat on the chairs outside and watched the lake shimmer. Beautiful. My room was great. I was fully aware how and why I booked. My goal was to go to the Norman Rockwell Museum which was very close. The Mint restaurant inside was very good.
The young man at check in desk said I had booked with a third party so I had the cheapest room about 5 times. I wasn’t sure if it was a warning or my deal was too good. The room was fine. I had asked if it faced the lake. It didn’t which was fine cuz I sat on the lake. The included breakfast was slim. They did have free fruit.
Charming location on the lake and a really good Indian restaurant on site, which was such a pleasant surprise.
Personally, I found the beds a bit hard and thought the breakfast was mediocre. But those aren’t real issues and I enjoyed my stay.
