Nice overnight stay. Was helping family move. Room and bed were great. Nice pillows. Good HVAC. Recently remodeled.
Don't book here. Under construction. Sticky soiled carpeting in guest room. No pool available. Walls are scratched and paint is coming off. Ran out of food at "free" breakfast. Rooms were not cleaned at 3:00 PM check in time. Had to wait another hour for an clean, available room . Rude front desk clerk. All around, find elsewhere. Room 330 hall door did not latch/lock and was a scary security concern.
Country Inn was advertised as having an indoor pool - this was not available due to construction - this should have been noted when making reservations. There was not a hair dryer in the room, had to ask for one. Most importantly - they shut the water off at night - I am an early riser / traveler and was not able to shower, brush my teeth or even use the toilet due to NO WATER FROM ?? TO 4:00am. This should not happen and if it does - LET THE PEOPLE KNOW SO THEY CAN ADJUST TO NOT HAVING WATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The fact that there was NO pool to use and NO WATER!
We stayed at this hotel to split up our drive from Michigan to the Wisconsin Dells. It was perfect! I usually do not write reviews, but the continental breakfast was one of the best I have ever had, and my two kids play two travel sports a piece. Mari helped my kids make their waffles, and she kept everything neat and stocked. All of the bakery items were individually packaged which I very much appreciated. I am not sure if reviews help get employees a bonus, but if it does, Mari definitely deserves one! We will be back next year on our way to the Dells :-)
Excelent property
Perfect
Room was clean and staff was friendily. Also close to every where we needed to go.
It is going thru an overhaul of facility so not everything was open and not all rooms updated.
I had a horrible bumpy mattress in my room that caused a very sore back when I woke up in the morning. However, the rest of the stay was good and pleasant. The check-in was prompt and friendly, the room was very clean, the free breakfast had a lot of good quality choices. The only other drawback is both the hotel's website and Trip Advisor state the lowest starting rate is in the $80 range. Both need to correct that misconception In other words good luck with what they state ai
Cancelled my reservation in the allotted time. They didn't take care of it on their end and charged my cc. There were about 4 different numbers to call when I cancelled, which was confusing. Not a very user friendly process and hey need to train employees better to ensure they provide the bestnservice for the CUSTOMER.
Extremely disappointed in this stay. To say the hotel is in disrepair and understaffed would be an understatement. Every piece of furniture in our room except the beds was broken. The nightstand and dresser drawers were all busted and wouldnt stay closed. The desk was so wobbly it was dangerous to sit at. The lamp outlets didnt work. The bathroom counter caulk was broken clean through.
The common areas were equally terrible. Carpet was worn and bunched up creating trip hazards. Ceiling was damaged in multiple areas. Elevator was almost a year out of date on safety inspections. There was a broken heater vent in the front entrance with sharp metal protruding. Chairs and tables in the breakfast common area were torn and broken.
We arrived late, so didnt really have a chance to assess until morning. Went down to the front desk around 7-8am and there was a full 45 minute period of no one at reception to even bring complaints to. Im pretty sure the only person on staff this morning was also running the breakfast buffet.
When a hotel says its under construction, i expect some level of commotion and disruption. This was not that. For $189/night, I expect better accomodations that a cheap motel.
Find other accomodations.
Construction is ongoing. Rooms badly in need of current renovation.--worn. construction is not advertised. Pool closed. TV service poor. Staff is accommodating but workers and equipment abound.
Broken shower head/handle, strong mold smell, very worn room, pool area closed. Entrances to hotel not locked. 1 plus is restraunt and Walgreens next door.
Breakfast was good. Not as extensive as some other places that we've stayed at. The staff was great and very pleasant. With the remodel going on, we didn't hear any noise from the workers which was good.
The Country Inn is in the midst of a huge remodeling project that we were not aware of. Our room was very dated- stained rug and the furniture extremely worn - clearly in need of an update.
Convenient location. Quite. Pleasant staff. Nice breakfast.
Property needs some updating. Overhead fan in the bathroom didn’t work. One vanity light in the bathroom was burned out,
Staff very friendly.
Rooms needed updated. Thin linens. Beds low to floor and not comfortable. Carpet dirty. Elevator out. Food
