Tolles Hotel in schöner Lage. Ein gelungener Aufenthalt.
Pros:

Sehr schönes historisches Hotel. Sehr nettes Personal, gute ausgestattete Zimmer. Große bequeme Betten, toller Speisesaal und umfangreiches Frühstück. Ausreichend kostenlose Parkplätze und öffentliche Verkehrsmittel fast vor der Haustür.

Cons:

Das Bad bzw. die Ausstattung ist etwas antiquiert. Natürlich soll es in einem historischen Hotel auch "alt" wirken. Aber die Badewanne mit der etwas abgerockten Duschabtrennung ist gewöhnungsbedürftig und hat schon bessere Zeiten gesehen. Die Dusche war eher ein leichter Rinnsal statt Duschbrause.

Das Zimmer unter dem Dach war unerträglich warm. Vor dem Zimmer war ein sehr laut klappernder Lüfter der regelmäßig anlief - die ganze Nacht. Zimmer im dritten Stock ohne Fahrstuhl

Overnight stay on the way to Poland from UK
Pros:

Very good location for someone who travels from UK to Poland and wants to stop for overnight stay. Pet friendly hovewer there is an extra charge for your pet which is absolutely fair. Very clean, comfortable rooms in beautiful surroundings. Very nice park around for a morning walk with a dog before setting off for further travel. The hotel has got spa and swimming pool but we didn't have a chance to use it as we checked in very late and checked out early morning. Amazing, delicious breakfast 😋 😍 👌 with such a variety I haven't seen in UK. Also you can have breakfast in the small garden outside which is just great! Plenty of parking around hotel, parking is free. The good value for money! Very happy with this choice.

Tolle Lage und ein schönes Ambiente.

Cons:

Wir waren zu früh da, sind mit dem Fahrrad unterwegs und draußen waren über 30 Grad und am Empfang wird einem empfohlen, doch solange noch Magdeburg zu erkunden...nicht schwingungsfähig. Weder an der Rezeption noch durch Informationen auf dem Zimmer erhält man Auskunft über Wellnessangebote oder wo der Pool ist (von dem es keine Bilder gibt).

Your location is great for a two day getaway from Berlin

Cons:

First first of all, it needs to be stated that we were there during the hottest temperatures ever recorded for Germany. However, apart from our own guest suite there was no air-conditioning or cooling made available to guests in the public areas or for the staff. The public areas were very uncomfortable -always over 30° C and the restaurant and the outside Terrace was extremely unpleasant when it came to eating. Only one personal fan was provided to provide some relief for one person in the terrace area. The hotel should’ve gone to some lengths to make the area more comfortable for all guests. When we left on the Sunday morning we discovered a dining room which was air-conditioned attached to the main dining room, but this was not made available to guests. On the Friday and Saturday nights the restaurant only offered a buffet which did offer a wide range of dishes, but it was not a pleasant way to dine in the heat.

Pros:

Die Umgebung ist toll.

Cons:

Kein Kaffee auf dem Zimmer. Viele Standardleistungen mussten extra bezahlt werden. Und dann funktionierte der Whirlpool nicht mal. Preis-Leistung ist nicht passend.
