ベットが高すぎて、登らないといけないので、ちょっと腰掛けてというようなことができない。

Good choice for Paris
Pros:

A nice hotel, very well located, clean, good stuff. Have stayed here every year for the last 20 years or so, it is very crowded now, due to large groups, in the breakfast area you fell the most, but the staff is doing a good job to keep everything organise.

Cons:

In our room there was no possibility to open a window. Needs small reparations.

Location near major attractions and lovely staff
Pros:

The location is perfect. A 5 minutes walk to the Lafayette Galleries and the Cathedral of Mary Madeleine. 10 minutes walk to the Place de la Concorde. Staff are friendly, the best beds we have ever slept in and a lovely breakfast with service.

We recently enjoyed a wonderful 3-night stay at the Sofitel Le Scribe Paris Opéra and could not have been more pleased with the experience.

The service throughout the hotel was consistently warm, attentive and professional, and the food was excellent. What stood out most, however, was the genuine care shown by the team. General Manager Nicolas Pesty took a personal interest in ensuring our stay was comfortable, which we greatly appreciated.

We were also deeply touched by the generous arrangement of roses sent to our suite by Sidibe from Housekeeping after she resolved a minor issue with great kindness and good grace. It was a thoughtful gesture that perfectly reflected the spirit of hospitality at Le Scribe.

As Australians who have travelled widely for both business and pleasure over many decades, we especially value attentive and gracious service when we encounter it. Le Scribe truly feels like a home away from home for us in Paris.

We have stayed at the hotel previously and are already looking forward to returning again within a few weeks on our journey back to Australia.

Our sincere thanks and best wishes to the entire team at Le Scribe.

Ich habe mehrfach telefonisch und schriftlich eine Rechnung, ausgestellt auf meinen Partner, angefordert und diese bis heute nicht bekommen. Ausserdem wurde uns zuviel Geld für die Minbar abgebucht, auch dieses habe ich telefonisch reklamiert und es wurde bis heute nicht zurücküberwiesen. Daher bin ich sehr enttäuscht über das unprofessionelle Verhalten dieses gehobenen Hauses

Negative experience from the very start
Pros:

We have just arrived. Unfortunately all the negative reviews written proved to be true. The hotel is badly serviced. The pressure of the shower is deplorable.
There is no complimentary water in the hotel and all the cosmetic stuff is on demand.
Compared to Le Burgundy, where we had stayed before coming here, this is definitely NOT a five-star hotel. It’s a mere pity of hospitality(((
