Could not have been more pleased with our stay at this hotel. Bilal Jerbi could not have made us feel more welcome. We booked our reservation through American Express and while some
Of the perks may have come from AE it was Bilal and his staff that made it extra special.
We were greeted by Bilal when we arrived and were served coffee and danish upon arrival. We had a lovely bottle of wine and light refreshments in our room.
That night we dined at their hotel and I hate I do not remember our servers name but she was delightful and tried to help our limited french.
The following night we raved about our dessert and Bilal insisted we return after dinner out for their chocolate soufflé, on the house. It did not disappoint. It was indeed superb!
I don’t usually write such gushy reviews but I can truly say the service was above and beyond our entire stay.
Our stay Le Scribe was excellent. The room was well appointed and the service in the hotel was excellent, particularly the concierge staff.
The hotel is well located and enabled us to walk where ever we wanted to go.
Highly recommend this hotel, we would go back in a minute and will on our next trip to Paris
We had told them in advance it’s our anniversary so they upgraded our room. The reception staff, the bell boys and manager all are amazing and they made our whole trip amazing and memorable. We would definitely come back to Paris again and only stay at this hotel no where else. Just the hotel and staff made the city better and for sure made us wanting to come back
The room cleaning could be stepped up but was great but not amazing but the other things made it all worth staying there

Le mini bar non inclus dans la prestation
This was my third visit to Sofitel and they never disappoint. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained. We love the location. Some areas require a taxi but there is great shopping, restaurants and bars within walking distance. What always stands out with Sofitel is their service. This particular visit we were celebrating my daughter’s birthday. They helped me find a bakery so that I could get her a cake and they even set up balloons for us in the room while we were out as a surprise. Tilly in particular was fantastic in helping pull this off. She messaged me quite a bit on WhatsApp to make sure the plans were set for my daughter. I won’t stay anywhere else when I come to Paris!
I have traveled extensively and have had the privilege of staying at some amazing locations. I’m posting today because I want to acknowledge the service that we received during our stay. From the moment we walked into reception, we were treated as if we were the only guests staying with them. The knew our names before we offered them. The doorman (I wish I could remember his name. I do know he was from Istanbul). He was very helpful and had the MOST welcoming smile and a warmth that you don’t see everyday. Aurelian in the breakfast room was amazing. Very attentive and was always anticipating our every need. We NEVER left hungry or empty handed.
It is clear to me that the staff is treated well here. They genuinely smile. They are eager to be of service and to me it seems as if everyone genuinely enjoys their job and those around them. I am grateful for the time spent here. It is truly a home away from home.
My mother and I had a wonderful experience and plan on returning soon.

Ce n’est clairement pas un hôtel 5 étoiles. La communication entre les employés ne fonctionne pas correctement.
Nous avions réservé deux chambres côte à côte, comme confirmé à la réception. Cependant, en arrivant à l’étage, nous avons constaté que ce n’était pas le cas : les chambres étaient en réalité très éloignées l’une de l’autre.
En retournant à la réception, le réceptionniste nous a expliqué que sa collègue avait commis une erreur, mais qu’il ne pouvait rien faire pour cette nuit, l’hôtel étant complet.
Le lendemain, il nous a proposé deux nouvelles chambres au dernier étage. Malheureusement, l’une d’elles était très bruyante en raison d’un système d’extraction de ventilation situé à l’extérieur.
À 23h, nous avons dû changer une nouvelle fois de chambres.
Au final, une expérience très décevante.
Perfect location. The room is tidy up everyday during our stay and the bed is so comfy.
Excellent location if you want to be in the heart of the city, if you want to shop for the best stores in France, this is it!
The rooms are a little small, but very well equipped.
They could refit the bathrooms with standing shower, now the shower is in a traditional dated narrow bath. Can get tricky !
Proust’s favourite hotel in Paris still gets just about everything right. We have just come from a six-night stay in the Scribe and have nothing but praise for it. I will follow the format we normally use in our reviews.
LOCATION
Can’t be faulted, bearing in mind Paris is a big city and anywhere you stay is going to be nearer to some sights than others. Within five minutes’ walk of the Opera, the Madeleine, Place Vendome, the Olympia, Galeries Lafayette and Printemps is pretty good going, and we had no trouble walking to the Louvre, the Tuileries, Notre Dame and even Place des Vosges and Opera de la Bastille, while for those of a less energetic persuasion there are at least three metro stations within five minutes of the door, and taxis waiting permanently outside.
RECEPTION
Fast, efficient, and charming. In fact, charming is the word we would use for all the staff throughout our stay. They were helpful, as well, which is not always the same thing.
ACCOMMODATION
Our suite was spacious, comfortable, well furnished, and well thought out. The electrics were a trifle inscrutable to work out, but that is not uncommon in hotels, and not just in France, and we got there in the end. The fruit bowl was a very nice touch, and what was most unusual was the water filter on cold tap in the bathroom, so that we did not need to lay in stocks of drinking water. Everything was beautifully and unobtrusively maintained throughout our stay.
FOOD
Breakfast was really very good, although it had its quirks. The soi-disant muesli was actually very nice, but nothing like any muesli I have ever seen before, with a complete absence of both fruit and oats. There was a very good range of both hot and cold dishes, and all the usual accompaniments, as well as some less usual, like boiled rice and miso soup. The brioche was outstanding, as was the service, which was vraiment sympathique. Well done to everyone!
I really can’t say anything about the other services and amenities, as we never had time to use them. If only we had been able to afford a full week!

Arrived for a two day stay. Was greeted and thanked for our diamond status. Staff was extremely friendly and the room was great.
We were sick so we didn’t go to the restaurant or cafe during our trip but the room service was good! We are returning in a couple of months so we will leave another review then

Ahaha in the breakfast was very kind and made sure to give us a great experience every morning. The concierge was super helpful. Even the bell boy made tufaan made our children comfortable.
